Nice snorkeling resort...some cons
Where Cozumel Palace does well, it exceeds. This was our 6th time in Cozumel...16th time in MX. We picked this resort for the reef it sits on. The snorkeling is amazing...octopus, starfish, trunkfish, etc. Walking out your room to snorkel every day is great. While the Italian and Asian restaurants did not impress, the Mexican and Flamingos grill were excellente!! Our favorite time of the day was sitting at Flamingos, watching the sunset over the teal waters...listening to a two-person band. There are pros and cons to a small resort. It's harder to escape the loud partying. You can hear EVERYTHING in your room...construction noise, loud music at the pool, even voices in the hall or bathroom noises next door. I would love to see this place become adult-only. The overall staff mood is good, but not the level of Atelier Cancun. However, Bryan and Argenis (Flamingos) give 5-star luxury service. They are standouts and an asset to the resort. SPA: Really nice. First massuese wasnt great, but following ones were. Marie and Argelia were amazing. ENTERTAINMENT: Typical cheesy magic shows that please kids, but loved the bands...Alex and Alex and then Marlon and Augustine were great. ROOMS: You can't guarantee what room type you'll get...or if you'll have privacy and a hammock balcony. We had to push our beds together...kind of silly for the price we paid. But nice rooms overall. REMODEL: As of March 10, 2025 it was still in progress. Kudos to the designer. The furnishings are classy. Fake plants throught resort are lame though.

Always the best resort!
Gets better every year! Beautiful renovation. Incredible restaurants. We love the crepe and coffee shop. Mostly we love to see the familiar faces of the staff each year. The absolute best service and great people work here. The beds are so comfortable. Everything is so clean and comfortable. There is no where we would rather go and will be back again next winter!

Great with Friends
We went with a group of friends, many of them the 1st time away out the country. The resort was clean and the people are super nice. The food was a step above even the other Palaces, very good. We were fortunate to be there during the Cozumel Carnival 2025, the Resort set up chairs so people could watch the parade go by. My friends are divers, that is why we chose Cozumel, the quaint, not crazy atmosphere is why we will go back.

Cozumel Palace rejuvenated us!
We’ve been members for awhile now, and our trip to Cozumel Palace reminded us why we joined. Great facilities and amenities, wonderful food, and the always amazing staff made this a memorable trip. The resort has been renovated, and we were thrilled to see that we can now snorkel directly off the deck! There was still some renovation work being done, but not in an obtrusive way. We loved the choice of restaurants, with the varied menu at Bugambilias being our favourite. David was our concierge, and he took care of every detail meticulously. We will definitely be back with our kids and grandkids!

FABULOUS 5 DAY GETAWAY
My friend and I plan a short girl's trip about this same time every year. Cozumel is Dallas's favorite suburb as it's only a 2.5-hour flight away, so Mexico is our usual destination. The Cozumel Palace did not disappoint. Quick trip from the airport and a front desk staffer who showed us 2 rooms should we choose to upgrade. (We did) and we were set. The rooms are beautiful. The remodel was still underway in our hallway as the painters were busy each day completing the baseboards and paint. The results were first class. The rooms are spacious, beds were comfortable with a variety of pillow types. There is a step down to the living area with a cozy couch and table with 2 chairs. There is a HUGE spa/bath for two and a great patio with chairs and a hammock. Try the hammock and you may buy one for home. The recent remodel gave this boutique hotel a lovely lobby and bar area. The restaurants were also very appealing. We ate at the Mexican, Steakhouse, Italian and the lunch buffet. All the venues were very good with great variety and service. Wine options which were included were just ok, but we are a bit picky about our wines. Liquors were top shelf; I had a great Ketel One martini. Don't miss the corner coffee bar with lattes, pastries and made on site crepes and paninis. Room service came in a timely manner, and we ordered coffee every morning for the next day on the Palace app. The pool area was busy as usual, but with only 186 rooms there was always a spot to be found. It is not crowded with a lot of young kids which is fun for those of us who are in a different season. We utilized the free snorkel gear and spent a great morning enjoying the water. We had a VIP status (not sure how) but it provided us with a private area with lounge chairs and a small pool which was inoperable. No big deal. It also provided a large credit which we used toward the spa. We spent an afternoon in the spa and had a facial and massage. It is a very small spa with no lounging area, but the services were great and detailed. If I was to sum up our time at this gem of a facility I would mention their attention to detail. The staff, the beautifully remodeled facility and the services were well worth the visit. We are well traveled and truly enjoyed our stay here. We will recommend it to friends and family.
