    Much better than some reviews make it sound

    After reading some of the negative reviews we were a little bit worried. After spending a week there I'm not sure what people are complaining about. Our room was great, air conditioning worked well, lost water for 2 hours one afternoon but we were at the beach so no problem. Didn't hear anything from any other room. Didn't spend much time by the pool but it seemed to be busy although not as noisy as some other places I've been. Beach was nice, lots of places to walk. Plenty of beach chairs. Yes there are a lot of vendors but they are not aggressive and also not specific to this resort. Location is great. Easy 10 minute cab to town and plenty to do within walking distance of the resort. Food was pretty good with plenty of healthy options. Got into 3 specialty restaurants with no problem. They were all pretty good. The hotel is showing its age but nothing that causes any problems. Everything was clean. Could use something, band or piano bar, in the evenings. It was pretty quiet. We enjoyed one of the evening shows but didnt really care for a couple of others. No fault of the entertainers, just not my thing. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Not perfect but still a great vacation.

    Great place!!!

    We LOVE the location & the staff is INCREDIBLE!! Daniel at the front is FANTASTIC!!! He ALWAYS remembers us & gives get recommendations of where to go & what to see. Ivan is also exceptional!

    1st visit to Puerto Vallarta

    This is our 1st time to Puerto Vallarta. 1st time to Crown Paradise Golden and although the hotel is older, it was clean. The location is excellent, right on the ocean. Loved the sound of waves. Swimming in the waves was so fun. The service was excellent especially by Maria Cortes from the buffet and Alexis who cleaned our room ,and Porfirio who made great drinks, and Samael who made breakfast a pleasant experience everyday we could eat upstairs.

    Hidden treasure in PV.

    The hotel is close to town and initial thoughts were that it was small and not much to do. Absolutely not accurate. Although small, it is intimate and has many hidden treasures throughout the resort. The rooftop pool was amazing. The lobby staff and bar staff amazing. One staff member, Martin stood out and went ABOVE and beyond to ensure our needs were met. He made this trip memorable!

    Excellent Vacation

    The resort was great, so much to enjoy. Marco was very helpful and friendly, providing suggestions for things to do! The staff at the restaurants and the entertainment at the pool was great! I would recommend this resort to my friends and family. Thank you for a beautiful experience.
