Excellent vacations
Excellent vacations. You can rest a lot, beautiful place and very calm beach, very good food and unlimited drinks. There are show at the theatre every night with wonderful topics, we enjoyed every day. On the other hand the tour agency have a lot of different options

Not a walking friendly place. The Hotel doesn't have enough golf cars for customers that need transportation. The access to the Hotel is a very damaged road. 1 1/2 hours from airport. Good food, nice people but.... I would prefer to go to Dominican Republic for an all inclusive place.

awful medical service and food
The place is nice although removed from Cartagena, so far no problem. I stayed last weekend to try but the truth is that it doesn't have much special for what one pays. However; there was something that seemed tenacious to me, on the second day I made a reservation at the specialized Asian food restaurant and I got terribly sick, obviously I had not eaten anything else outside the hotel, I went to "nurse" and the "Doctors" gave me a pasta and told me that I had to buy what I needed or pay for ambulance if possible despite having the service of the "Assist Card" card that is included, in summary it is a scam, they do not have good protocols at all with the management of meals, people or emergencies. Only and because we had to beg, they let us hand over the room later to "rest". That said, we lost a whole day at the hotel because I was sick, there is no real medical assistance and the customer service is terrible, they really only say "we are evaluating", "we are going to review", "it is the policies" and a thousand more technicalities to get out of the way. I don't know how the other Decameron are but this one in particular I would not recommend it or I would say that they bring their own food and medicines to not expose themselves, the beach is pleasant and I have a bittersweet taste of not having been able to enjoy more because of their terrible handling of everything.

two positive the split units in the rooms were great and cold and the beach was pretty. the negative: food was awful never a chicken breast ever !!! only chicken drum sticks and thigh every day a pork meal and beef that was un editable . salad but no dressing just white vinegar veggies s where good, breakfast was properly best meal but no mimosas What? the girls that worked the buffet where attentive and fun and friendly. long story short I will never go to this resort again oh and the road to the resort you feel like your insides are going to leave your body with all the gapping holes in the road that no one fixes. Spa was cheap and good $40 US dollars for 1 hour Drinks were ok. nothing top shelf. Only 1 air-conditioned restaurant and they closed and lock the doors and don't allow you enter til the dining time of 6:30 or 8:30 lots of mosquitos bring bug spray were were attached once stepped of the bus. luggage took forever to be delivered to room Very outdated room and mildew on the shower, shower head spits water all over, no shelve in shower so your soap you have to put on the floor mildew in the closet no extra pillows or blankets
