I never got a chance to go to this resort and enjoy my vacation due to my flight cancellations because of bad weather which was out of my control, when I called the resort to see if they can change my dates or give me my refund, they said I would have to book my reservations all over again with booking.com, and pay all over again when I had already paid for everything just for them to refund me that money back, that means I would be paying twice, long story short I never got my refund back, and they never gave me an option to change my dates and I never got to go it was very disappointing because this was a gift for my daughter for her sweet 16 birthday and we were all looking forward to this trip seeing that it would be the first time going to Jamaica. I also had sent the resort an email and they never responded back to me I fund that a little unprofessional, I will be boking another trip to Jamacia, but it will be with another resort in the future, because I felt as if they didn't handle my situation properly seeing that it wasn't my fault that I couldn't fly out there due to bad weather.

Spend your money elsewhere.
This is not a resort at all. It is a hotel. Our room wasn't horrible. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. I think we had one of the newer remodeled rooms from some of the others that I saw. The food was horrible. We were there for 7 days and the food and the flavors are are the same. When you have a hotel this poor in quality you better have some food with a major WOW factor. Every meal had beans and rice that was flavorless which was a huge let down and some other sort of rice which was also flavorless. Always 2 pastas. Always some sort of fish that was terrible tasting. Chicken every meal. Horrible small salad selection which only had Shredded cheese offered one night. Canned mushrooms on the salad bar, you can't get any cheaper than that. The attempt at a carving station was an epic fail. Served out of an old, beat up, metal buffet table pan. Station worker wearing no gloves, cutting meat with a big kitchen knife instead of a carving knife and leaning against the wall on his phone when not busy. The dessert station was made up of very cheap cakes and cookies and soggy bread pudding and burnt chocolate cake. It wasn't dining quality or presented at all. We have been to over 20 resorts and over 20 cruises. This was the first dining facilty that I have EVER been served drinks in a cheap, elementary school, plastic cup. I have never had plastic drinkwear in a dining facility. They need to throw these things away. I had to order 2 soft drinks at a time and out of 21 meals, I was only asked for a refill one time. My plastic cups would sit there empty and they would walk by them over and over until I asked for something else to drink. The omelette sation was nice. The bacon was burned every morning. Most of the meat was extremely overcooked. Honestly they need to send the dining manager to some resorts to see what others offer. Nobody eats liver and kidneys for breakfast and even if they did, not prepared like that. People were nice, Loretta was exceptional. People were pouring out the mixed drinks left and right, cheap alcohol. Employees were constanly more worried about having a good time and acting like they were there for their party instead of the guests. Beach Towels were old and faded and embarassing on the beach. The ice cream freezer they served out of was horrid looking. It was dirty and honestly had these ugly brown boxes of ice cream. I mean come on people, this is supposed to be a resort. Presentation is everything in all that you do. The pictures listed on the website are the best of the worst. I'm sorry to be so negative, I could go on and on. I'll finish by saying that this should not be called a resort. The entertainment is childish and I don't mean that they have anything for children. It's just lame. And they overplay Reggee music and they lose their audience when they do have a crowd. Advice would be, nobody want's to eat the weird jamaican cuisine everyday. The options you offer is the cheapest of the cheap. Increase your budget and offer some good food. Don't overcook all your food. Offer karaoke a minimum of 2 nights, it draws your best crowd. Motion is not a performer worthy of a resort. Cheap entertainment leaves your guests thinking "I can't believe I paid for this". I tipped everybody by the way. Good service or poor service I tipped everyone. Overalll, I would best describe our experience as Cheap, Exremely cheap. You have an opportunity to turn this place into something very nice but I think the management in all areas of this business should go to some other Resorts and experience what one looks like and feels like. Oh, and get rid of the childrens cheap, small, plastic glasses. The decision to ignore these suggestions will just prove that you have no real desire to improve your "resort"

Amazing Birthday Vacation! I just returned from an unforgettable birthday vacation, and I have to say, this place was absolutely amazing! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Special shoutouts to Ms. Loretta and Abeo—these two ladies were exceptional, always paying attention to the smallest details and making sure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. The bartenders, Omar and Kevon, were fantastic, keeping the drinks tasty and flowing all day long. The food was delicious, served three times a day with plenty of variety to choose from—there was always something new and exciting to try. I also want to mention the fantastic hospitality from the front desk team. Roshawn, Laryn and the restaurant/bar manager (forgot her name😊) were friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and ensuring that all our needs were met during our stay. *we did not had much access to the pool due to the lengthy maintenance and not having a small snack bar at night after bar fun until 2am were disappointing. Overall, I had an incredible time, and I would definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for 6 days and had an unbelievably wonderful time. Big shout out to Crystal in the dining room, she was very attentive to our needs. That Ital carrot juice that she suggested that I get during breakfast that morning was amazingly delicious. Thanks again for everything Crystal. If only I could rate higher than 10. She's truly a gem... Also big up to Kevon di bartender. He made sure di drinks were always right on point 👏🏾 10-10 Very nice place to visit and the staff members that I encountered, were very nice people. I would highly recommend Deja. It has that homely feel. Like you wake up a you Yard ❤️ 🙌🏾

At home, family friendly, great staff, central.
Very friendly staff and lively, engaging entertainment staff, Loretta and her assistant entertainer. Excellent dinning room staff and gentlemen in the lobby willingly assisting us with bags, additional items for our rooms and taking us a cross the street to the lively beach and activities. We’ve returned many times…three times last year and will come back. It’s not a ritz Carlton, but it’s definitely home. Pleasant and happy.
