    We enjoy our visits to Delta

    My wife and I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Delta Hotel. The staff is exceptional. You will be lucky to be served by Eduav, Yosita, Johnathon, Chaka, Jorge, Jax, Guadalupe, and Miguel. Even though we have a membership at Garza Blanca, we like coming to Delta every year.

    Book this resort! You won't regret it!

    This was the most beautiful resort ever! The layout was perfect- multiple pools of varying temperatures give you lots of options and privacy if you want it. Delicious food, beautiful rooms, and absolutely fantastic service. A major shout out to Regino G, Rony M, Luciano, Daniela M, Emilio, and Octavio - they were all so friendly and attentive all week! We never had an empty drink :) If you're hesitant to book because this is not beach front - DON'T BE! They have shuttles to the beach constantly and a gorgeous beach set up too with everything you need and want. But franky, after seeing the resort itself, you might not ever want to leave. Highly recommend.

    A hidden gem

    Just like in the pictures, We were very impressed. We counted more than 10 pools, somewhat hidden in this oasis. Our family with 2 teenagers liked all the pools, the buffet, the Japanese gril and Taco truck. We took the shuttle to the beach and enjoyed the free food there. We would have liked entertainment in the evening, a pool table, ping pong, a show or such, there is nothing to do for teens or adults after 8 or 9pm if you count the kiddy movie from 7-9. The service is prompt and super helpful.

    Enjoyed our stay but we were overcharged

    Overall my family enjoyed our stay at this resort. However, I was disappointed to see I was charged over $70 USD more than the original amount in my reservation booked on the Marriott website. I was surprised to be told that when I paid with my U.S. credit card at checkin, the hotel used its own special exchange rate to convert my USD charge into Mexican pesos. The hotel's exchange rate (printed on a piece of paper at the front desk) is higher than my bank's exchange rate, so the actual cost to me turned out to be $70 more than the amount shown on my reservation. This feels like a dishonest billing practice and a money grab. The hotel should either charge in pesos at the time of booking, or charge the same amount shown on the Marriott website at the time of booking. I was told that in order to avoid the special exchange rate, I could have brought my entire payment in cash US dollars, or I could have paid in pesos. For a weeklong stay, neither of those options seems doable. More importantly, I was never informed of this billing practice at any point prior to finding the excess charge on my bank app. The hotel was unwilling to help me beyond describing how they calculated my charge, nor has Marriott offered to fix my charge. I've been a loyal Marriott customer for years, and would love to return to this hotel, but if I can't predict how much I'll be charged for my stay (or if the only guarantee is to bring large quantities of cash), I'm not comfortable returning.

    Great resort! Very family friendly

    Such a relaxing resort! Lots of little pools, lots of chairs around the pool side area. Regino, Daniela, and Erik were amazing servers which kept us very happy by the poolside. Regino went above and beyond and was so fast with the service. The beach club was also beautiful, with an amazing menu and lots of fun and sun. Antonio was such a good server at the beach club. The chefs at the teppanyaki restaurant were amazing and very nice - posing for pictures with the kids. Food was great too and it was an amazing experience. The taco truck near the natural pools had a tia making the most amazing fresh corn tortillas and tacos on a grill. Overall a lovely experience and would definitely revisit
