    Candy and Cones is one of the most memorable and engaging culinary destinations at the resort. Designed for everyday convenience with commitment to quality, Counter Point is the place for specialty espresso drinks, smoothies and cold brew coffee. Enjoy a daily selection of house baked breakfast pastries plus salads and sandwiches with wine, beer and savory snacks for later in the day and evening. Counter Point offers carry-out or dine-in options.
  • Diplomat Prime
    Diplomat Prime is a boutique steakhouse boasting a reimagined menu of prime beef aged in-house and seasonally-driven seafood dishes. Enjoy a variety of old world and new world wines, as well as classic cocktails designed to complement the steakhouse fare. Inspired by the 1950s, the design of this 108-seat restaurant incorporates elements of
    sophistication and playful femininity to a steakhouse space that historically had masculine overtones.
  • Monkitail

    The menu is a contemporary take on the classic izakaya, featuring sharable small plates and sushi as well as an array of specialty cocktails and sake. Surrounding an open robatayaki kitchen in the heart of the restaurant is a 15 seat sushi bar and a private dining area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Tucked away beyond Monkitail's main dining room is Nokku, a discreet cocktail lounge with four private rooms, each having full karaoke capabilities.

  • Playa
    Playa is a poolside, beachfront Nuevo Latino concept. Along with an extensive bar highlighting rum and tequila specialties, Playa redefines the resort's outdoor experience through perfectly executed tacos in house-made tortillas, an array of fresh salsas and guacamoles, and fresh-juice-based cocktails.     Point Royal is a coastal American restaurant and bar exclusively created for the Diplomat Resort. With a modern take on a seaside restaurant, the indoor/outdoor venue features a raw bar and a menu featuring the full gamut of coastal American cuisine. Complemented by a center bar focused on fresh juice-based cocktails and an expansive wine list, Point Royal delivers a bustling environment and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

    The Canteen is a supply and trading company offering convenience food and beverage items for hotel guests.

  • The Hotel Bar

    Paying homage to the cocktails made famous in hotels around the world, The Hotel Bar offers such classics like the Singapore Sling (The Raffles Hotel), the Nacional Cocktail (The Hotel Nacional) and the Vieux Carre (The Hotel Monteleone). This indoor/outdoor bar also celebrates cocktails from recognized bartenders in the surrounding area, including the Papa Doble and the Toasted Marshmallow  Old Fashioned. All cocktails are prepared with ingredients from freshly squeezed juices and house branded ice.

    Birthday Blessings

    So on our third day that was raining.We were able to utilize The hotel bar. We had the pleasure of meeting Ed and LC.They were both extremely attentive and made use feel right at home. LC took our drink order (2Blue Long Islands)and after some small talk with Ed he learned we were there to celebrate my birthday which was yesterday. He immediately grabbed our ticket to say its on the house! We were very appreciative and stayed for three more rounds. Ed and LC both are displaying stellar customer service. I felt like a local they have known for years. Thank you both for a wonderful experience and conversation. I hope One of the Two if not both Ed and Elsie are on shift to serve you. Awesome Vibe and stellar experience.💜

    Great place to stay

    We visited family for the Thanksgiving holdiay and stayed at teh Diplomat. It was great. Staff was freindly. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in close proximity to everything we needed and Hollywood Blvd for great restaurants. Highly recommend

    Five Star Service- Thank you Jeffery Celestin!

    I cannot thank Jeffery Celestin enough for going above and beyond to make a special surprise happen for my husband's arrival. It wasn't even his role, and I only gave a few hours' notice of my request, yet he made it happen at the last minute. His kindness and dedication to providing exceptional customer service truly stood out—something that's unfortunately rare to find these days! I would gladly return to this hotel just for the outstanding care they provide, on top of the gorgeous views and beautiful rooms. Thank you so much, Mr. Celestin, for making this experience unforgettable!

    You’re paying for location and amenities

    I went back and forth whether to give a 3 or 4 star. The hotel is expensive and truthfully you are paying for a great location and the amenities. It is in an ideal spot, close enough to Hollywood beach and a ton of restaurants. Grocery store across the street for anything needed. Lobby is beautiful. Access to beach is amazing. The rooms however - very disappointing for $500. We stayed in a 1 king bed with balcony, partial ocean view. When we arrived, our door was open, paintings were not hung up on the wall and there was a dirty pillow case left on the toilet seat. It’s almost as if the cleaning crew got called out of the room right as they were doing finishing touches. The balcony was very disappointing as well. Mold and overall cleanliness issues, rusted/old seating. I would probably skip the balcony and instead get an ocean front window view. Overall was fine for our anniversary trip.

    Watch for numerous extra charges

    I recently stayed her for a business trip. After two days I received an extra 1,300 dollars worth of charges from the day I checked out at 3:26am. I tried calling the customer service and was never able to reach a representative at the hotel. I called Hilton and they have reached out the hotel, and still haven’t received any information. All these charges are on a business card. Very poor customer service from billing. I have also read numerous other reviews that customers have received extra charges.
