Just returned from a week for a girls trip and it was excellent! The rooms are pristine and clean, the service great. We ate at the ala cartes and the food was delicious. The beach was amazing for our daily walks, we enjoyed the gym everyday with no wait. we did have an issue with ordering room service BUT the resort handled it expertly which means far more in my opinion. A huge thanks to Yulisa and Aravio- some absolutely excellent customer service! This was exactly what we wanted- pure relaxation! one note do not fly with sunwing. That was a major disappointment and to be honest I should have known better. Our bags still haven’t made it back on a direct flight!

Outstanding
The hotel was great . The customer service was great! Josue gave us great customer service at Perla Negra cabana! He helped us purchase tve cabana and was outstanding with his customer service! Absolutely recommend it !the best customer service ever !

If you want service and being treated like you’re special
Rooms are excellent and cleaning staff are excellent Bar service at the pool side are beyond expectations. Alejandro ,Josue, Oscar and Eric made our days around the pool and beach extra special. If you pride yourself on excellent service best place to visit. Bring tip money because these people work their butts off to make sure you’re taken care of. 10 out of 10 because of service.

Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlan Golf & Spa resort
My wife and I recently vacationed at Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlan Golf and Spa Resort from February 24 to March 10. We arrived at the airport on an on-time flight from Westjet and proceeded through customs very quickly. After a 10 minute (400 peso) cab ride we were met as we arrived by Yesenia and Gerardo who welcomed us and quickly checked us into our room. Yesenia and Gerardo provided very personalized service whenever required and every request was promptly taken care of throughout our stay. The hotel opened in April 2024 and it is a beautiful facility and our room was very spacious and very well appointed. The resort is a 30-40 minute drive from Mazatlan and has endless uninhabited beach. We very much enjoyed our long beach walks and the fabulous sunsets! We experienced outstanding service from a wide variety of people as well as fine food over our two week vacation. I will try to name a few for your information. In the Preferred Lounge Roberto and Eric provided great service and drinks. In the main buffet, a young waiter named Arturo provided excellent service every morning and one evening when we were there for dinner Lucio provided professional service. Sandra the omelet queen provided us with great tasting omelettes and smiles every morning. In Oceana, Daniel, the manager made us feel welcome each and every time we were in the restaurant. Great service was provided by everybody including Vicente. In Portofino Chef Conde, waiters Francisco and Arturo, in Meraki, Samuel, Pedro and Chef Marco made us smile every time we went there. Our UVC representatives David and Ivan provided valuable information for us and always greeted us with a smile. We also had a couples massage at the spa, which was taken care of by Karla and our masseuse‘s Sarah and Fernanda were outstanding. Carlos provided very courteous supervision at the preferred pool and our beverage glasses were always kept refilled by Herman. We would indeed go back to this resort as it is outstanding in every respect from the facility itself to the service we experienced. Smiles from the staff were contagious and made our 35th Anniversary Vacation extra special.

Great multi generational trip
Great time for all! We loved water aerobics and entertainment with Alexis and Yamir. Kids loved the pool competitions and the music by the pool was fun. Hector, Sergio, and Edwin kept drinks in our hands and they worked hard all day. Best poolside service we’ve had at an all inclusive of this size. Spa was beautiful and the hydrotherapy was a fun experience. Swim out rooms were great, especially in the afternoons when it got more windy by the main pool. We saw dolphins every day and one morning saw whales breaching from breakfast. Dinner staff went above and beyond. I would say the problem was waits for tables and often out of things. Chef cooked our fresh fish catch and it was delicious. Our kids enjoyed the fire show but it would have been great to have more evening shows, and maybe in time they will. All in all our group of 15 from 2-77 enjoyed a week in the sun with hard working friendly staff!
