Dreams Los Cabos review
The resort was pretty. Our room was located first floor somewhat ocean view. Beds are comfortable. Construction on the far side of resort near adults only pool. Did not really hear it at the main pool( which we enjoyed). The pool area lunch/breakfast had great food and hard working employees. Especially like to thank Capitan Eloy, Chef Rosa, Gabriel, Hostess Diane and waiters Jaimie, Irvin, Victo Fernad, …they all were friendly.

No ocean swimming.
Dream of swimming in the ocean because at Dreams Cabo that’s as close as you’ll get. The undertows and ocean currents are so dangerous you’re not allowed to swim from the beach. The pools are OK but don’t begin to make up for no beach swimming. The rest of the resort was great but I left after 48 hours.

More options food food and drinks needed.
The wait in the restaurants is WAY too long made me not want to eat. Only bar open during a certain period was lobby bar which was packed because it was the only place to go. Drinks and food too hard to come by for an expensive All Inclusive. Room service was good if you ordered the night before. Service was overall good unless it involved food at night.

Could do better
Four friends (2 rooms). The resort is pretty with a great beach, views and nice rooms. Our ocean view rooms had highway/parking views. The ocean view was barely peek-a-boo. Lots of construction in the area of our rooms. Staff kindly accommodated our request to move. New rooms had nice ocean views. Mini bars were not stocked much or even similar products. There are only two pools and the adult pool is shady with bar/grill closed due to construction. The main pool was barely heated so most adults and children were crowded in the hot tub. Bars were not always stocked with ingredients to make beverages listed on the menu. The Italian restaurant did not have coffee available after dinner. Other than the cafe and buffet, food was not available until noon. Beach bar staff did not acknowledge patrons waiting for service. Front desk staff were very nice. We really appreciated the quality service we received from Manny in the Cabana. He was super attentive and very professional. We highly recommend getting a cabana with Manny (even if it means you have sit through a timeshare sales pitch). Emilio at the pool bar as engaging and attentive.

Better than I was expecting.
Although the hotel is a bit dated, it appears that they are doing some updates and renovations which we look forward to seeing on our next visit. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we were pleasantly surprised by poolside activities and entertainment. The poolside team were amazing, and made sure we were well taken care of.
