Decent Rating
The staff at this resort are extremely friendly and hospitable; however, the resort is due for some much needed maintenance. The elevator in our building was down throughout our stay. Additionally, housekeeping didn't provide any wash clothes after check-in. I had to call this front desk daily to have them delivered to the room. On the bright side, the spa was excellent.

Enjoyed the holiday with good friends but won’t be returning
Just returned from this holiday at dream. Initially on entering hotel lobby we were impressed. Check in was seamless and got to room pretty quick. We were very disappointed with the room as it was very dated and in dia need of a refurbishment. Been to Mexico 4 times and for the money we paid I expected top notch. Having said that the rooms were clean. The food was really good in the specialty restaurants but the breakfast buffet was awful. Izelia the waiter in the lobby bar was lovely she made our nights fun. Sergio at the pool bar was exceptional and was always happy to join in on our banter. Most of the staff at the hotel were very friendly and attentive. The day beds around the pool you had to pay 250 dollars per day to use with a bottle of fizz which is extortionate I’ve been to other hotels which were much better for less money. Personally I would rate this hotel as a 3/4 star hotel I wouldn’t go back purely because of the shabby decor

Great family vacation
Wonderful family trip experience. The staff truly made this one of our most enjoyable family vacation. Everyone at the resort was so friendly and wanted to make our stay memorable. We enjoyed all the restaurants, had fun at the karaoke bar and had fun with bartenders! This was our second visit to this resort and I’m sure we will return again.

Terrible Experience
I regret booking a 10-day stay at Dreams Riviera Cancun. Our experience was far from the "luxury" and "hospitality" we were promised. Food: The dining options were incredibly disappointing. Most meals were bland, repetitive, and lacked freshness. The buffet felt like leftovers were being recycled daily, and even the specialty restaurants failed to deliver quality dishes. Staff: The service was shockingly inconsistent. Some staff members seemed indifferent or annoyed when approached for assistance. Requests were often ignored or took an unreasonable amount of time to fulfill, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Drinks: The drinks were watered down and lacked any flavor. Cocktails tasted artificial, and the "premium" alcohol they advertised seemed nonexistent. Even basic requests like cold water took forever to arrive. Overall, Dreams Riviera Cancun fell flat in every category. For the price we paid, we expected far better. I would not recommend this resort and will not be returning. Save your money and look elsewhere for a relaxing vacation.
