Dec 02, 2024Quiet and relaxing holiday and regular preferred club is the way to go!
My friends and I went to dream sapphire to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We booked the preferred club and it was absolutely worth it. The preferred club lounge and the preferred club pool were excellent. The resort also was very very careful with gluten as I have celiac disease. When we checked in I got an allergy card and at the beginning of every single meal at every restaurant the server always asked if anyone had any food intolerances. The hydrotherapy circuit in the spa and the massage were phenomenal! The ocean was very pretty and we were able to swim everyday except for the last day when it was a bit too windy. The resort kindly accommodated my request to be in a central location due to my disabilities. They also sent cake in the wine to some of my friends to celebrate our birthdays. We were all adults and I think this resort is more geared towards families which is excellent but there's nothing nearby without taking a taxi into Puerto Morelos and they charge very expensive rates to go into town around 25 US dollars each way. If you want to place just to relax and be quiet and swim then I think this is excellent. Preferred club is absolutely worth it but from what I can see the new indigo preferred club level is not.

The resort location and facilities were good. food choices for breakfast Lunch and dinner were below average. The bar, Coco Cafe, Barefoot grille and revive was good. the service overall was good except for the occasional language issue. If they improve the buffet for all 3 meals it would have been a better experience.

Beach bar
Best beach bar service I’ve had in a long time your glass will never get empty. Rooms are very nice and clean . The a la carte system is a bit different you can’t book you just show up and wait sometime an hour and a half not really what I had in mind for preferred club inclusions

The staff are super friendly, lots of food choices - I wish they had salt and pepper. Guacamole and salsa with chips were are favorite. They don't water drinks down like a previous resort. Their convenience store is just that - $11 USD for a bag of Lays chops, no deals, we didn't buy any souvenirs to take home. Lots of activities by the pool, great wedding for party of 16.

Amazing Staff!!
Our 4th time at Dreams Sapphire and the staff just gets better and better. We love this place so much from the food, cleanliness and the amazing staff!! Moises Perez and Eduardo in the buffet, Hector in the Preferred Club lounge and Vincente (head pool concierge) all need and must get a shout out. All the staff is amazing but these 4 hard working people is one of the reasons we keep returning. Until next time Dreams Sapphire!
