We had a wonderful family vacation at this resort with our four-year-old. The staff are so friendly and attentive, the pool is lovely and the drinks and food are all delicious. We were super impressed with everything and I want to give a special shout-out to the Explorers Club for making our daughter's experience so special. Thank you!!

Great service
We attended the resort for a wedding. There were a few weather related issues that lead to last minute changes, the staff were amazing & pulled it together making it a wonderful & memorable day. They closed two of the restaraunts to ensure we had a venue and amazing service. The wait staff were incredible for the wedding as well the two meals we had at Blue Water restaraunt! Well done amigos!

Yoga class with Maya
Loved the morning yoga class with Maya. The view from the class area was breathtaking. Just the amount of stretching after a long flight and lots of walking. Attended 4 of her classes. Really enjoyed meeting her and attending her classes. Walked away refreshed and ready for the day!

Incredible Wedding Weekend Destination
The resort is beautiful and filled with stunning venues to host gatherings or parties of all types! We had three spectacular wedding events at Our Lady of Izamal Chapel, Vista del Mar, and Preferred Pool. While each space offered a luxurious experience, the best part about celebrating at Dreams Sapphire is the staff! They applied a personal and thoughtful touch throughout the weekend. Carmen Martinez went above and beyond to make sure our family and friends had everything they needed! I would strongly recommend booking group getaways or a wedding here!

The Service and Entertainment Staff Are So Wonderful!!
I visited this resort on a "Girls" Trip, although we were aged 23-60ish (I am 44, for reference). We arrived days after a horrible Tropical Storm and had a Tropical Cyclone Warning for the 1st two days. While it was apparent that the area was not used to that much rain, the employees did absolutely everything in their power to keep the areas clean and slip-proof, and their attitudes were top-notch! Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, from the coffee shop to the bars to the buffet. Some personal favorites of note are: Feliciano, who was our server by the pool several of the days and served us many laughs along with the delicious shots and cocktails, Hector at the pool bar making us dozens of shots at a time, and Eduardo, who served us breakfast in the buffet and made every morning special by embarassing the 23-year-old by showering her with compliments and then calling her out for blushing! ;) It was adorable!! The food was very good, aside from a few buffet blunders, and the drink selection was decent, but lacked some staples. If you are a picky drinker, I recommend that you acquire ahead or bring your own. The beach was a mess because of the storm, but did get cleaned up after a few days, and was beautiful. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think my favorite part about this resort is its small size. All of the restaurants, coffee shop, lobby bar, and pool are in the same general area. Also, our rooms were almost the furthest away possible, and it still only took about 5 minutes to walk to the lobby. I would definitely return again!
