    Dreams Resort NOT SO DREAMY

Dreams Resort NOT so DREAMY! We were a party of 6 adults and 6 kids (aged 5 and below). We had a terrible experience at this resort and don’t understand how it is rated 4.5. Why we did not like it here - 1. We had no hot water in the shower, about which we complained multiple times with no action taken. We had to bathe the babies (less than 1 year old) with Luke warm water. 2. Service was abysmal at restaurants and in general. We got yelled at by a waiter because we did not place all the order at once. This whole trying to manage 6 little kids and their food and other requirements. 3. Rooms weren’t cleaned and beds made if we did not specifically called and requested. What?! I am here for a vacation, give me a break! 4. Food was very average and forgettable SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR A BETTER RESORT!!

    Month Long Stay

Went for a week with our kids and grandkids. Loves it so much when they left we stayed for another 4 weeks so we went for q week and stayed for a month. Everything about this resort is consistent - fromm food to staff to cleanliness. Food was amazing but people are what make this resort so outstanding. We have stayed at many many resorts over the years but Dreams and Secrets checked every box for us. Special shout out to our lovely Butler Noemi. From beginning to end she was helpful, spoke excellent English, helped us book and organize many things and was always ready with a genuine smile and happy greeting. Also fabulous were Jair (butler), and Juan, Daniel, Alberto and Alejandro (outdoor/pool serving staff). We felt like we were saying goodbye to friends when we left. We will absolutely be back soon.

A great first time Dreams Experience

We just got back from this trip less than a week ago. The resort overall exceeded our expectations. -The room...The room was impeccably clean. There wasn't even dust or dirt in the corners. We accidentally spilled water on the floor and when we cleaned it up, the paper towel was still bright white.....no dirt. To me that was amazing. We had an ocean view room and it was awesome. I would say the only downfall is the room set up for a family. The room we stayed in had two beds, but truly was more set up for just a couple than a family. The Food-The food on the resort was awesome. This was our 4th all inclusive and I would have to say some of the best food. Everything was very fresh and flavorful to the point where we didn't feel the need to eat off resort at all. While each restaurant has a smaller menu, there are still plenty of options. The buffet, was definitely not your average buffet. Breakfast, lunch or dinner it had great options that could please anyone. The Entertainment-Danny on the entertainment committee was a blast. He's got the right personality for it and make it enjoyable. I would say the best resort entertainment was have had so far. The only downfall I would say, not technically about the resort, is the beach. Its not a smooth walk into the water. Its slightly steep to get down to the water, and the beach is quite rocky. Again, as a person who loves a good beach, this was about the only drawback for me. However, as far as the resort, it was great and we would easily go here again.

    My New Favorite PV Hotel!

We had a group of 56 people stay at Dreams for a week for a conference. Everyone loved this resort and are excited to go back! Staff/Service- exceptional! Friendly, attentive and always there to get you what you need. Rooms- beautiful and large! Comfy bed and everything worked great. Preferred club has a jacuzzi tub on the balcony as well as inside the room Grounds- beautiful, clean and easy to navigate the resort Lobby- the most beautiful views! Behind the lobby is a small room that we would watch the hockey games Food- the food was great and we especially loved Capers ( big thank you to Francisco!) and the Teppanyaki. If you are ordering steak remember that they guage them differently. I like medium rare and in Mexico it is medium well Pool area- we spent a lot of time at the swim up bar and around the main pool. All the servers were great Preferred Club- this is a low cost upgrade that provides a personalized and quick check in/out. We had a beautiful ocean view and access to a small lobby with fresh breakfast foods and snacks. Nayely our group coordinator helped us with any of our conference room needs - I would recommend this location for a conference! Beach- the beach is not the best for walking but great for lounging or playing in the waves. They ring a bell when they see whales and we saw them every day- always amazing no matter how many times you watch them Location- 35 minute walk to the Malecon that has lots of little shops, restaurants and fun things to see and do. We loved our stay at this resort and will be sure to come back again!

    Nice stay

Great food and drinks service. Joel made us feel very welcome. Thanks to Joel, Jairo and Brenda for making us feel welcome and switching us to the adult pool when we accidentally booked the kids pool. It was relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks so much
