Oct 02, 2022Some "must" like it HOT
OK Resort. Older but very family friendly. There were mainly Mexican families crowded into the larger pool. Food in the main restaurant was fantastic! Only one meal was a disappointment, but they tried hard to remedy that. Air conditioning was quite lacking. Beautiful view but had to cover the windows in order to keep temperature in the room somewhat manageable. Thank goodness for the ceiling fans that we had to run 24/7 along with the meager central air.

We had a great stay! I was hesitant about traveling during the pandemic. The precautions regarding COVID at the hotel exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival we discovered our rooms had been upgraded to suites - they were HUGE! Two bathrooms, a bedroom and a large kitchenette. The balconies had a great view. The hotel gym was great. The location of the hotel was perfect - we were to walk to many things to do!

Very nice stay at El Cid
Although I did not spend time in the hotel, the room was perfect. Clean, good water pressure, and all I needed in working order. Associates in front desk very helpful and polite, Overalla very good experience.

Relaxing
Wen we arrived the time share vendor's they are very annoying, the room after one our of waiting they give us the room a 4 o clock nasty no supply the main phone for the comunicate a the front desk doesn't work, at last after 45 minutes the manager Oscar change us to the private zone, just one last thing, the young ladies in the front desk and some hostes a the restaurant's wasn't friendly

The room that was assigned to us provided a superb view of the ocean and pool area. However getting replacement towels was hit or miss. Asked cleaning staff for towels and was tole to ask at the desk, did but no results. Kitchen was missing many amenities needed to prepare meals and dowels to dry washed dishes. All other staff were very helpful..
