Yearly vacation with wife.
Pool volleyball was the best because of Kevin. It was very fun and very competitive and overall this resort is very beautiful and the service is amazing. The staff really treat everyone like family and go out of their way to help everyone with anything they need.

I can't even tell you all the amazing things here. The place is perfect. The people are so lovely. Shout out to Marco, Osvaldo, Bertuba and Z! They are the best. The reggae bar, mango margaritas, incredible meals, beach, catamaran. We're going back we promised.

A True Paradise!
My husband and I stayed here and it was more wonderful than we could ever have imagined! The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the pools were pleasant, and the beach was utterly paradise. We couldn’t have wished for a better experience for our anniversary. The service staff were so kind and fun to talk to and truly made our stay even more enjoyable. Shout out to Jerik, Osvaldo, Marco, Alex, Djcris, and Kevin for being so amazing, kind, and fun to be around! The staff were so attentive, made amazing drinks, and organized such fun activities, including beach volleyball, dance classes, and cooking classes! I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and positive experience at a beautiful location.

Honest Review of El Dorado Maroma
This was our 5th visit to El Dorado Maroma. We visited March 16th-26th and we are Emerald Members with Exotic Travel. We booked a Saphire Swim up room Non-Refundable More Inclusive 6/25/24. Some of the events that we were NOT happy with. Pre-arrival services: 1. We called Reservations and provided Flight information and spoke to Veronica 4 months prior to travel. We also advised Veronica that we needed assistance for an Early check in because of a fight change. Upon arrival to the airport in Cancun, no flight information was documented to Lomas Travel. No early check in was noted once we arrived to Maroma. 2. Check in seemed to go smoothly, room was not ready, so we were asked to wait for an hour, and they would call us. Our evening dinner reservation was made at the check in. We were very hungry, so we walked to Tacoria still in our winter travel attire! Excellent tacos made to order. An hour went by and still no call. My husband went back to check in. Room was ready. Room 801. The bellman gave us a ride to our room. I can guarantee that no one had been in that room for a long time. The room was dusty the patio had fresh paint drips on it and the beach chairs had fresh paint and dirt on them. The entrance to the Swim up pool was slimy and extremely slippery and there was not a railing to get in and out of the pool. 3. Still have not heard or seen or met our Butlers it's now 5pm. 4. Since it was our 5th time at Maroma we know some of the staff. I'm so proud to call Israel and Enrique friends. We noticed them on Tuesday morning and asked them to assist us with locating our butler to start receiving some butler services. Israel was asking how we liked our room. We showed him around and indicated our concerns with the railing to get in and out of the pool was missing, paint on our chairs and not being cleaned. He took some photos and asked to see if there were any other rooms we could move to. 5. We finally meet our butlers Alex and Manuel. THIS IS WHEN THE OUTSTANDING SERVICE STARTS! We would like to Thank Israel for getting the approval for us to change rooms to 601! Fantastic room and safe to get in and out of the pool! Enrique for asking if we need anything every time he saw us. To Jesus and Marlina in Mio for making our dining experience so much fun and enjoyable! To Angel at Lima Limone. Thank you for offering your arm to assist me to a wheelchair. Your kindness did not go unnoticed! To Daniel, Rene, Betsie, Philipe and a fairly new bartender I can't remember his name. He was promoted from the mini bar stack crew. He worked so hard to please everyone that day! Believe me there were a ton of people in the pool and specialty drinks! Great job! To our house keeping staff, service with a smile was truly remarkable!

Perfecto!!
This was our third visit to El Dorado Maroma. From the moment we arrived, I felt like I was coming home to family. What makes this place so unique is definitely the staff. They couldn’t try any harder to make your stay exceptional with their warmth and assistance. I love that is adult-only and is a quiet place to relax. We enjoyed many walks around the lush grounds, the magnificent beach with its talcum-like white sand, the pool, the excellent spa, the sunset catamaran cruise and the after-dinner music and dancing. I would like to recognize some of the staff that made our stay so special - Augustine, Arturo and his son, Ezekiel from Papitos, Jesus and Marlene from Milo’s always made sure our dining experience was top-notch. The aqua-fitness guys, Osvaldo and Alex, could not have been more attentive. I came there with an injured shoulder and elbow and they both took such care to make sure I was able to participate without pain. Thanks so much to both of them for that! (From “Sweet Caroline”). Ana, from the bar, works so tirelessly and is so dedicated to pleasing the guests, always smiling!! I could go on and on about the wonderful staff here. They always go above and beyond to give us a super vacation. If I had to point to an area that needs improvement it would be the swim-up suites, which are starting to need a little extra TLC. Also, it would be nice to have 2 additional restaurants to choose from, especially for those of us who tend to stay 10 days or more. Other than that, this place is everything I need for the perfect vacation. I look forward to our next trip - I’m already counting the days! I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with this place!
