Great location and nice staff. If you book a sea view room try to get to the Hula building.
The hotel is close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We upgraded our room to have sea view and unfortunately the room didn’t smell that nice and there were no other available rooms left. But the staff fixed so we could move after one night. The view was ok but if you book a sea view room try to specify that you want to be in the Hula tower, our new room was in the Aloha tower and the balcony didn’t have a lot if sea view. Try out shave ice it’s a must if you visit Honolulu there is one place really close to the hotel and it’s Lahaina.

Ask for Otto!!!
We (6 teachers from Canada) were here for an educational conference in January. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The best part of our stay was coming back to the pool and enjoying the evening reception. Otto was so kind to us; he went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. We enjoyed his conversations and his Hawaiian Hospitality!!

Great stay
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk is a terrific place to stay. It is perfectly located within walking distance to the beach and nice shops and restaurants. It seemed to be in a safer part of Waikiki than the usual Waikiki. Also, the beach behind the Outrigger hotel was a lot quieter than the usual beaches in Waikiki. I enjoyed walking along the paved pathway along the beach from the Outrigger hotel all the way to the Hilton Hawaiian village lagoon. There is a Honolulu Cookie Co just behind the hotel. If you go, there are plenty of samples of their great cookies and if you buy something, they give you two free individual individually wrapped cookies to sample. The staff at the Embassy Suites was terrific. They greeted me very warmly upon arrival and the bell person offered to help take my large suitcase to my room. The front desk was very nice as well. They printed my boarding pass for me and changed a five dollar bill into 5 one dollar bills, which I used for tips. The best part of the stay was the breakfast buffet. The buffet itself is not fancy - cafeteria style - but they also have an omelette station where you can ask the omelette chef to make your eggs anyway you want them, not just omelette style. The room was very clean, which is most important to me. It’s not real modern, but it was nice. I loved the fact that they had a washlet seat on the toilet just like the Toto washlets you find in Japan. I paid extra for a lovely room in the hula tower with a view of the ocean. I was on the 21st floor, the top floor, and had a very large lanai (balcony) with two chairs and a small table. It was just lovely.

Great staff
Otto the pool manager was great and showed amazing customer service during our stay through Christmas. Very professional and respectful to me and my family. Otto even gave my son some toys to play with while in the pool. He made sure we were comfortable and had a great time.
