Dank and Drab Few amenities. Kids Running wild. No Room or Pool Side Service.
Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach is worn down and in bad need of a major makeover. I stayed in the Aloha Tower which is Dank and Drab. The Floors have dirty hallway carpeting along with poor elevator service. This is now no more than a 3 star hotel. No Room Service and no Pool service. They have a Pool side bar but that is for Hilton Diamond members only. If you want peace and quiet do NOT stay here, as more for families with small kids. The Pool has no lifeguard and the kids run all around the pool yelling and screaming like crazy. Same for the breakfast buffet. Kids running all over trying to server themselves dropping food and making a big mess ! Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Is Not For Couples and not for relaxing ! Don't Stay here

Welcoming and friendly!
Otto was great at the pool generous and helping our family with towels. Keola welcomed us from our first day. These were people along our vacation that went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our kids noticed the difference. All were welcoming and friendly.

Near The Beach
This is a nice place to stay near Waikiki Beach. They have a lot of rooms with two towers and a pool. They have a great breakfast bar that serves all kinds of hot and cold food with lots of space to eat. We stayed in a suite with two bedrooms, which was great for all of us. This is a great place to stay. One interesting thing about staying here is that you need to use the elevators for most of the rooms. There are two elevators in the tower one has the button you push to go up and down the other entrance does not have that, but either door can open so you have to be aware of what both doors are doing. It would’ve been nice if they had duplicate indicators on both elevator exterior.

Nice hotel, hot tub was the best!
We came here on Hilton points, and with our Diamond status, we got a few extra perks which were nice. The room was actually pretty nice for our family of 5, our 17 year old basically had the living room and pull out couch bed to himself, while myself and hubby shared the other room with our twin boys (age 9). The beds could have been bigger, I think they were standard Queen size, but we made it work. Pillow's were not great, it would be nice if they had a variety of firmer and softer pillows to accommodate everyone's taste in the room, they were all pretty soft and not firm at all. The hotel has a great breakfast, it reminds me of an all inclusive breakfast, but with not as much variety. The made to order omelets or eggs were great, each day they had 2 cut fruit options with apples and oranges too. Bacon every day, with a type of sausage. Scrambled eggs everyday, and pancakes or french toast, and some kind of potato wedge/hashbrown. Yogurts and cereal options too, bread, bagels, biscuits able to be toasted. Juices (3 kinds and a vitamin water), milk, and coffee (likely had tea but I stuck to my decaf coffee). It was a great feature of the hotel honestly, we would eat a big breakfast then be good until we did a earlier dinner each day (around 3ish). The pool area was really nice. As diamond members one of our perks was getting a free cabana rental for a day, so we picked one of the nicest days during the week according to the weatherman and spent the day at the pool. The hot tub was my favorite, the pool was not cold but it was cool so the kids really appreciated swapping between the two. The pool is open until 9pm, which was fun for the kids, its great at night and right next to where the happy hour snacks and drinks are. The evening reception was very nice, the snacks were not anything really filling but great for kids (taco chips and salsa with some veggies one night). Adults got 2 free drink tickets per day, hubby doesn't drink so I got his tickets and quite enjoyed my drinks and sitting in the hot tub. This was a really nice feature for the hotel. It was very close to the beach, about a 2 minute walk away, very convenient. Overall we had a great stay, it's nothing crazy fancy or upscale, its a nice family hotel.
