My 10 days booking was reduced to 2 nights only.
If you are a frequent flyer that wants to enjoy some pastime with your friends or spouse I would suggest you choose a better option than Euro Hotel. My experiences are as follows: * While I thought receptionists there understand and speak both English and Spanish the Hotel description states under language spoken. I understand Spanish a little but I speak English so language barrier was my first challenge. *Secondly as I open the room door I was welcomed by the smell of mold. *Upon inspection I noticed black mold on the shower door’s silicone caulked, the tiles and the sink drain. *At first I didn’t inspect the bed but approximately 30 minutes after a janitor came to asked if we want to clean the room. I thought my room was cleaned before we moved in because I was super tired from a long trip so I told her no, she can clean the following day. I don’t understand what she was saying since I only know a few basic sentences in the language. Later in the evening (approximately 5 hours after) I saw a bug crawling on the wooden bed frame. I got scared because point to be noted-I am pregnant. I decided to use hand sanitizer spray on the bed frame to chase away the bug however that didn’t help. I ended up seeing another one on the other side of the bed frame. I tried to kill it but was unsuccessful. * The following day I went to the front desk to show the receptionist a video that I captured of the bug and she informed the house keeper to clean the room while we were having breakfast. I doubt whether they did a deep clean in the room because we returned just about 30 minutes later however it looked neat with mold still showing on the spots mentioned above. *Just when we thought breakfast was part of our booking payment, it didn’t happen that way. We had to pay for breakfast after having it. Also on Sundays the breakfast room is close so you’ll have to walk down the street to get from cafeteria located around. * There is a tv in our room but it doesn’t work. *The rooms are not sound prove. We could literally hear the neighboring guests activities during the night *The doors are hard to open and close. * Not all receptionist are trained to handle problems in the hotel. These are some of the problems I encountered making me uncomfortable and I had to make a decision to leave although I paid for the 10 days. *There was no reimbursement and no apology for the bugs seen in the room.

One bad apple spoils the whole harvest!
After staying in the hotel for 5 months I was 1 day late with the payment because my bank ran their maintenance and hotel charged me 1 day extra. I have been in 164 countries and never experienced such an insult. Not in Africa, Asia or Americas. Never ever even in other hotels in Panama!!!

Perfect for a solo budget wise traveler
I stopped in Panama City for a few days this April. Honestly when traveling the most important things to me are security, AC and Wi-Fi is a plus. In the outskirt neighborhood of Calidonia, not to close and not to far from all the sites. I did my laundry and got my haircut across the street. There are little greasy food stands and mini markets, if you need a late night snack bottled water or forgot a travel item, just steps away. Staff is courteous and attentive. Only minus was that there is no safe in the room, but the building is secure and I never had any doubts.

Very good for price
Older hotel in a good location for food service, laundry, small market stores and walkable to Balboa Ave as well as several other venues. Hotel is clean and functional. There are two elevators and a swimming pool. There is a restaurant but it was open during my stay, most likely because of Easter Sunday.

Good price and location!
I was in this hotel for two nights. Overall the hotel had everything that I needed for my short stay in Panama City; clean room, good location, near the metro, near places to eat and shop. All the staff were friendly and helpful. If you don't want pay a lot for a hotel room in Panama City this is a good place to stay, and remember to bring shampoo because they won't have any in the rooms.
