    Lovely Stay

A very beautiful hotel with top notch service. From arrival to departure we were treated with the utmost care. We had a suite for our family of 5. The room was fantastic, very clean with luxurious bedding and toiletries. The view every where you look in this hotel is just stunning...ocean, mountains, beautiful artwork, lush greenery. The pools are amazing, plenty of lounge chairs available and the food is excellent. We didn't have one complaint. You get what you pay for here.

    5* service and accommodations

We were overwhelmed with the experiences we enjoyed at the Kea Lani. The staff was incredible from our greeting on arrival at the valet to the friendly check-in, the helpful concierge, the pool staff and especially the housekeepers. We feel comfortable recommending Fairmont Kea Lani to all our friends and family. Our group included four couples and our 1 year old grandson. The grounds, staff, and room were perfect.

    Just amazing

The overall experience was amazing. If you debating whether to take the long trip to Hawaii, I’d recommend everyone going at least once. The views at the hotel were incredible. I’ve never seen a sunset so amazing. The staff at the hotel was excellent. Free shuttle service around the area which we used every night to venture out to dinner and the mall. Beach was extremely private only downside was no food or drink service which seems like a Hawaiian thing. Hotel is located on a beautiful path allow the ocean which was great for morning walks. Was able to walk right to the Four seasons and grand waliea. Would recommend Olivine and Matteo’s italian restaurants and the four seasons for breakfast. We tried all the hotels breakfast because being there for 10 days you want a little change. Hotel breakfast was really good as well.

    Best property in Hawaii!

Outstanding resort - the amenities, the room, the service, the views, the beach, and the food. All five stars. Best vacation we’ve ever had! Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Hawaii. We had a one bedroom ocean view for three nights and it was so spacious - our three kids slept on the pullout soft and chaise lounge comfortably. Bathroom is huge - large enough for my three daughters and me to get ready each night. The texting feature with staff for room service or a shuttle to/from town was so easy and efficient. We will be back for a longer visit soon!

    Strongly consider the Four Seasons

We are currently staying here. It is a nice hotel but for the cost, the Waldorf (grand Wailea) or Four Seasons are probably better. The Kea Lani closes the beach at 4:00. Rodney, the beach guy is going around at 3:45 saying 30 minutes until closing time. At 3:50 he saying 15 minutes by 4 pm he is saying time to take the chairs in. I asked the manager why they close so early, he starts to say something about the law and they have to close then. Then I asked how does the four seasons get to keep their chairs out until sunset and he responds with well we had problems with people partying and we have to close now. Not sure what to believe. On April 1, 2025 at 4 pm there were probably 50 Kea Lani guests being asked to leave since they wanted to clean the chairs up. We have stayed at the hotel for 5 days now. They have a sign up that states no chair saving at the pool, if you leave your items unattended for over an hour we will move them and give the chairs to someone else. We are rule followers and don’t save chairs since they ask you not to. Although the Farimont Kea Lani rewards the non rule followers. We have yet to get chairs at the pool. On a typical day the chairs are about 25% populated and none available. I would strongly consider the four seasons next time, especially if it was only 25% more or less.
