    Twelfth Trip and Counting!

    This was our twelfth trip to Fairmont Mayakoba. This resort is a beautiful sprawling property set among the canals. Casitas are surrounded by nature including beautiful plants and flowers and local animals (coati, raccoons, iguanas and cayman). The reason we continue to return to this resort is the staff. There are teams of colleagues that welcome us like family, look after us so well and make us feel incredibly appreciated. The beach crew including Nicholas, Merlin and Frederick set up our palapa everyday with a big Buenos Dias and smile. Humberto, Luis, Gilbert, Jose, Jorge, Antonio and Luis looked after our drinks and food in such a timely and friendly manner. The Basanno team of Jordan, Carlos, Antonio, Armando, Eduardo, Alberta and Nataniel always made us feel welcome and made every dinner special. I especially enjoyed the new menu "Mushroom Risotto" - amazing! We enjoyed late lunches at Brisas and morning coffee and treat at Cafe Maya - thank you Shaden and Maria! Looking forward to our next stay!

    Terrific

    We had a terrific trip to the Fairmont Mayakoba. The facilities are beautiful and top-notch. Our trip was made better due to our butlers Agustin and Vanessa; they took amazing care of us. We loved the Tauro restaurant and our waiter Edgar was amazing. When you are on the beach, the service is good and Erick was great!!! Finally Alejandra at the Gaia restaurant made our experience stellar. Thank you!

    Best of the best! Top notch!

    One of the best stays I’ve had in my entire life. Special compliments to Miguel Lares and Rodrigo Sosa whose services and assistance are out of this world. This hotel is flawless in all aspects. I cannot think of a better place to stay in Playa Del Carmen! Simply amazing!

    Awesome family time

    Amazing resort. Friendly staff, clean, updated facilities, nice food options. We had a wonderful time with our 3 kids! Huge shout out to Miguel Lares and Rodrigo. Miguel was incredibly responsive and super helpful. He is a definite asset to the resort!

    Wonder time

    My husband and I came for a week and had Ana amazing stay. Food, service, rooms and overall vibe are great! Staff is super attentive and kind and on time for things like golf cart drop offs/ early morning rides. This is our second time at the property and each time it has been amazing. The prospect has undergone a renovation and it’s truly beautiful. Some things to note is it if a golf cart oriented resort so you will catch rides around the property but wait time is usually no more than 3-5 min and they run 24/7. Also there are free bikes you can use to get around! Concierge team is great and will help with so much and responds in a timely manner! They can book all your dining reservations for you and things you may want or need. Housekeeping is great and always brings ice cold water at night ( free ). As for water there is free water delivered to your room everyday and you can request more if needed, free refill stations all over to fill up your water bottles and in the restaurants it’s free- pool side and beach side it does cost but not bad! Overall good prices are so reasonable and not scammy. You can also book the boat to go to the other resort to have dinner which is very fun!
