    Not Our First Choice Any Longer

    So let me begin by saying we are regular visitors to the FA over the past few years and we loved this charming PV resort with good food and friendly staff. The resort is on the smaller side and for those of us who returned year after year we appreciated its special vibe and authenticity. Visiting this January we were disappointed that while we’ve enjoyed the food/restaurants they can feel limited the menus never change, and the quality doesn’t feel quite as high as it used to be. For most one time visitors this may not be an issue unless you are looking to stay for a longer visit but the lack of options and static menus do get old. Also, as mentioned by others, the level of noise is often times over the top. We previously loved the quieter Mexican music that created a vibe. Now, loud American music starting in the morning is very off putting and for those like us just looking for relaxation and an opportunity to “chill” and perhaps read a book this is extremely challenging. Don’t know if they are trying to be more like the larger highly energetic resorts but I for one miss the quieter, more authentic feel of prior years. Not sure if we’ll be returning ☹️

    Excellence!

    Excellent service at breakfast from Rosalio. First time here, beautiful view and great food. We are from Canada and appreciate the opportunity to get out of the cold. Great service from bellman Martine on our way in as well. First day of our stay

    Worth the experience

    Wonderful place. Hotel is in good shape. Food was very good all week as well. Staff are attentive. If something was not quite right the people working at the hotel took care of it right away. Antonia and David at the pool bar are the best! Sebastian at the front desk is very good! Was a lovely trip.

    Wonderful!

    Had a wonderful experience at this resort with my husband. It is not adult only but has an adult only area called the Sonne Club that we absolutely loved and went every day! Huge shout out to Rafael and Nacho who provided absolutely amazing service at the poolside in the Sonne Club! The food and drinks up there was amazing! I would go back just to go back to the Sonne club. Had a photo to post but won’t load unfortunately. But it is beautiful and cleanly here !

    We’ll be back again!!!

    This was our second visit here. We came back for the great Service/staff and wonderful accommodations. Once again we had an amazing time! Andrea was the best activities director and her enthusiasm was perfect to keep it upbeat. Can’t say enough positive too ha about her. Ernesto did a great job of keeping the activities going. The bartenders Antonia(Montana) and Leo were the best! Their smiles and friendliness and kept us happy and our cups full of delicious drinks. Pool side we loved Pedro, Jessica and Alexis among many others took very good care of us. I would recommend this place over and over to anyone. Thanks for another wonderful trip and we’ll be back next year. Pinky promise!! ❤️
