Bait and Switch - Ruined My Cancun Vacation!
I booked a two-night, all-inclusive stay at this resort, and it was a complete disaster from the start. The check-in process was ridiculously slow, taking nearly 40 minutes. They photocopied all my documents, charged the resort fee, and gave us wristbands, only to then inform me that my booked room wasn't available. They then told me they were transferring me to a different hotel for one night. This meant I had to check out of the temporary hotel by 11 AM and couldn't check back into the original resort until after 3 PM. This completely derailed my plans to explore Cancun. To add insult to injury, while we were waiting through this whole ordeal, they refused to even provide us with water or allow us to purchase food, despite my booking being all-inclusive! This bait-and-switch tactic ruined the first part of my vacation. I would strongly advise anyone considering this resort to book elsewhere.

Extremely disappointing
This hotel is very run down and outdated. The staff is rude. The beach is a big cliff. You have to walk down to the next hotel where it is flat to be able to go into the water. It’s very dangerous for children. But the worst part of staying there was the food. It was the worst quality food I’ve ever eaten. There was no selection and was tasteless. There was no fruit and the desserts were ridiculous. Just a bunch of tiny little cakes. Extremely disappointing.

Staff was amazing!
Roberto, Alicia and Carla were amazing and went above and beyond. All the staff was phenomenal and super helpful even with my broken Spanish. The housekeepers were amazing as well. I believe one’s name was Nadia, and they were super kind and friendly

Very unsatisfied, extreme lack of customer service
We had multiple issues which the hotel did not sort out. We were in a swim up room, where the use of speakers is clearly stated they're not to be used. The room next to us would constantly play very loud music along side screaming and shouting. This would happen at all hours of the day, and they woke us up multiple times throughout the night for 7 nights in a row. We complained upwards of about 12 times over the week, and the staff kept saying they’d send someone to sort it, or they would be on their ‘last warning’ however they kept making noise and nothing was done. We therefore had sleepless nights for 7 out of the 9 nights we were there. The hotel offered us one room change, which we declined as we had unpacked and didn’t feel we should move when they were causing a problem. We also had a leak from our bathroom ceiling and the light fixture, which we raised and they said they would fix. They said they would come back between 9am-10am, but didn’t turn up until around 12pm. They re plastered the ceiling and said they were done, but they left all the previous plaster all over the bathroom floor which we had to clean up. The leak then reappeared that evening and we let them know, and they ‘repaired’ it, once again leaving a load of mess. The following day, it was leaking again. We only had one more day left so decided to leave it as it was proving to be too much hassle. We raised a complaint with Thomas Cook who we booked this holiday through, and they sent it off to be investigated, and the hotel has sent back a log of what they supposedly did to solve these issues. They said that they offered us multiple room changes for both the noise issue and the leak issue, which they did not. They only offered us the one room change in relation to the noise next door and said they would sort out the room next to us. They have declined to give us any compensation for the disruption to our holiday, which we spent a lot of money on.

Reception staff were really good and friendly.
Carla and Merary at the reception were super friendly and really helpful! From the moment I got there they made me feel welcome . Anytime i had questions or needed something, they were always there, ready to help. Merary was super helpful, especially since I'm really forgetful. I kept forgetting my room card, and she was always so nice and understanding about it!
