Dump
DUMP! 2 elevators, 1 out permanently, the other was out for a day, we were on the 5th floor! Water leaking from ceiling, panels missing from walls, no beach towels available for 2 days! Most staff pleasant, however, 2 bartenders were down right rude when I left my wine glass at another bar! This was our 4th and final visit here! If you like nightly shows, this resort has nothing!

Great place
Service and location are great. Buffet has a ton of options for lunch and breakfast, and the coffee in the morning is strong and tasty. If you want a big party hotel, this isn’t your place. There’s music and some games at the pool daily, but the beach is mellow and all you can hear are the waves. Service is 5 star as the people there are awesome. 3 bars open daily with the lobby bar open late. There’s a sushi place, steakhouse, and seafood/past place open several days a week each. Sixties is a great sports bar open at 6pm. As long as they keep their prices low, we’ll be back.

Rather be somewhere else
Went with 15 other ladies. We thought the food was only fair. The rooms had no coffee makers. Worn out and tired. A neighbor of mine went there a few weeks ago. She said she got a terrific deal. Had an awful experience, bad, cold food. Dirty linen, no towels and just unresponsive staff. I can understand that if you have been coming for years you feel ok with a mediocre environment. Staff cannot make that up for me. When our group came en masse to the desk to complain no one would come to speak to us. We just stopped tipping our housekeeper. Staff had their favorite patrons who captured their attention. Restaurants only open on certain nights. We were at Moon Palace last year and were anxious to be in CanCun proper. The price difference was minimal. Do not give these folks a dime of your hard earned money. You get what you pay for…, dirty dishes stacked up in restaurants, plastic cups for cocktails even indoors, soiled table linens, and broken chairs at the pool.

Good but needs to return back to its hay day.
This is the third time I've been to this resort. The first 2 times were so great. Sadly it has gone downhill. There is less staff, they've done away with the nighttime entertainment shows and the food quality has really suffered. One day they opened it up to locals in the area for really cheap and even the staff stopped speaking English, only Spanish. It's really sad because the first 2 times, this place was paradise.
