Great food, service, and the beach was very big and beautiful. The main pool was very well kept and lots of room for everyone with the large swim up bar. The buffet food was very good and the restaurants were great especially the Italian food. Rooms and grounds felt like a tropical Paradise.

Mar 28, 2025Disappointing Stay – Poor Service & Lack of Attention to Guests
I had high hopes for this resort, but unfortunately, the service was beyond disappointing. When we first arrived, the lobby bathrooms were disgusting—completely unusable. The floors were soaked, and no staff was around to maintain them. It was an immediate red flag. Things only got worse from there. At dinner on the beach, several roaches were crawling all over the tables. When we informed a waiter, he casually swiped them off with his bare hand and continued serving guests without washing them. To make matters worse, we even found a roach floating in our drink. Room service was just as bad. They consistently forgot basic requests like water for flowers and ice, and shockingly, one staff member opened my door without knocking while I was in bed. The restaurant and bar service were equally frustrating. Waitresses only seemed attentive to guests they already knew, ignoring others. I had to call someone over three times just for napkins, and it wasn’t until her supervisor stepped in that she finally came. The drinks were watered down, and after repeatedly asking for them to be remade, we had to go get them ourselves because the waitstaff was nowhere to be found. Housekeeping was another letdown. They didn’t even bother to change the sheets, and overall, the room didn’t feel properly cleaned. The pools were dirty and freezing, making them nearly unusable. For the price and expectations of a resort stay, this experience was completely unacceptable. I regret not choosing TRS, Iberostar, or Excellence for this trip because this resort does not meet 5-star standards. From poor service to lackluster amenities, it was a letdown from start to finish. I would not recommend it and certainly won’t be returning.

A great place to go for a mixture of relaxing and entertainment. Beautiful grounds and food is great.
Second time at this resort and absolutely loved it. The entertainment team does an amazing job. It’s always nice to come back to a resort and be remembered by the staff. Christobal, Jennifer and Felix made me feel just as welcome as when I first met them.

amazing relaxation in the middle of spring
We were there in the middle of March and it was an amazing week. The room was clean, food was delicious, almost all the time was an opportunity to book a restaurant. The beach has perfect sand and the ocean was co warm. The stuff is kind and respectful. Only a couple things could be better: warm water is not always available, needs to wait some time, and the traffic on paths was more than comfortable (too much small carts and delivery trucks).

You have to see Dalvin’s Kid’s Club and Karaoke performance.
Dalvin’s entertainment at Karaoke night is PHENOMENAL!! The man sounds exactly like John Legend and the bar was going crazy all night. Absolutely recommend coming by to experience his animation for Karaoke and the Kid’s Club. You will come back again and again.
