Good time had by all!
We travelled to the resort Jan 26-Feb 2 with a group of over 200 people. The resort managed this large group very well. Check in and out went very smoothly. The resort is very big. There are trains but could not always get on them as they were full so if walking is an issue might be a problem. Grounds are beautiful and well looked after. We stayed in the Platinum section and I would highly recommend the upgrade. I don't usually find the upgrades worth the extra money at resorts but this was the exception. Gives you more dining options and a pool that are exclusive to Platinum guests, better drink options, and great room location. There is a private lounge for check in and check out and anything else you might need. Private buffet for breakfast and supper. Exclusive ala cartes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice beach party one night with lobster, fish and plenty of other options. Food was pretty good for an all inclusive with a lot of options for places to eat. More than most all inclusive resorts we have been to. We used the main buffet upon arrival and was thankful we did not have to go there again. Very busy! Really other than finding an ala carte for dinner, watching the band with our group and maybe strolling through the stores we spent all of our time in the Platinum section or on the beach. Rooms were clean, fridge stocked daily and staff I encountered friendly and helpful. Other than the entertainment brought with our group the resort seemed fairly quiet. There were things posted but I never saw them happen but maybe I missed because it is so big? There were new and really nice Pickleball courts (along with the tennis courts) which were not there last year. The only complaint I would have is the shared walkways used by guests, the trains, food trucks and staff on motorcycles (talking on their phones) and "some" were going very fast and whizzed right by you. It was very busy and not big enough for people and vehicles. Would I recommend this resort, yes and I would return which I can't say about a lot of the all inclusive resorts we have been to. Is it perfect, no but in my opinion it is above average if you are realistic and not comparing it to home.

Perfect week at a great resort
We travelled in February 2025 (still have one more day at the resort) and have nothing but good things to say about it.. Travelled with family 55 / 51 / 20 / 19 / 18 The resort is large and the trolleys are often full. I have a leg injury compounded by breaking a toe in the ocean and I still would walk from the beach to the lobby. Would for sure be harder with young children or elderly. We were Platinum and he food at all the a la cartes and buffets were great. Something for everyone and we were all impressed by the quality of the food and drinks Extra special shout out to Jose and Glenys at the Premium Pool Bar. Anyone who says the staff isn’t friendly for sure didn’t meet these two. They went above and beyond every day we were there. Staff at all the restaurants and bars were friendly and outgoing, many do not speak English but hey we are in a Spanish speaking country. How would you react if someone came to your work speaking Spanish and expected you would know what they wanted just by speaking louder? We met lots of great people from England US and Canada and also saw a few “not so patient” travelers. Unsurprisingly the staff did not respond favorably to rudeness. The weather was perfect, the food was great, the beach was amazing, the WiFi wasn’t good. I would call that a win.

Beautiful Resort, it is worth it!
We traveled to this resort in late February 2025. Our overall experience was excellent. We stayed in regular bungalows and tried to upgrade to platinum, but everything was fully booked. Here are my comments: 1- The resort is huge. You need to walk a lot, especially to get to the lobby if your room is close to the beach. It might be a bit challenging for people with little babies. 2- Surprisingly, the Wi-Fi connectivity was bad. There are many areas with no coverage, and if many people are connected to the Wi-Fi (like at night), you can't get it even in your rooms. I am personally not sure how they can't handle such an easy issue in 2025! 3- We really enjoyed the food. However, we found people who didn't like the food at all. I think it is very personal. They had many à la carte restaurants with a variety of options. 4- As the resort is big, they need cars to move people around. So you should expect many cars (like golf carts) moving on sidewalks, which I found annoying. 5- The beach was amazing. Very, very soft white sands. BUT as we know (it is Punta Cana), it is always windy. 6- The entertainment is not that great. There are some shows at night in the lobby, and that is it. 7- (Again, as the resort is big) There is a lack of enough amenities in the resort. For example, there is only one main pool, which I found not enough for such a big resort. 8- They can do a better job in housekeeping. 9- Very well maintained resort. The worst part of our vacation was dealing with Sunwing's return flight. They canceled our flight without proper communication, and we had to wander in the lobby for a whole day, go to the airport, return to the resort to get a new room, and return back to Canada the next day. This was, of course, not the resort's issue. I personally won't choose Sunwing again for my vacations.

Blah.blah,blah
Customer service was awful, there was always a different excuse at to why they were closed when trying to book a la carte. No Facebook cloths. The staff: very little staff speak non basic English so it’s very difficult to communicate, they are not friendly. Food at the buffets was good I will give them that but Overall experience was “blah”. Would never go back.

Best Vacay Destination in the DR!!!
This is my first time at the resort. It has all of the best comforts! Delicious food, and plenty of drinks! The entertainment is phenomenal! Cristobal bring the party! The animation team are amazing! The shows, music, and dancing were my favorite!
