The best hotel I’ve ever seen
I can’t say enough about this heavenly place! We only came for a day using a ResortPass (book those early!), and it was a highlight of our Hawaiian vacation. I’ve never seen such a spectacular property. Just walking around and enjoying the landscaping was amazing! The pools and lazy river are gorgeous. The resort is right on the beach, which is also stunning. We can’t wait to come back and stay for longer!

Day Pass
Read where hotel sell day passes. Any observations how this impacts guest experience? Wondering given the costs for staying here if it is worth it if crowded with people on a day pass. Thanks for any observations or thoughts. Wondering if other hotels do this as well.

Amazing luxury and family friendly resort
This resort does not cease to exceed expectations every time! This was our second time staying here. The Grand Hyatt Kauai is an incredible destination for a family vacation, especially with a toddler in tow! From the moment you arrive, the lush tropical setting and welcoming staff make it clear that this resort caters to guests of all ages. The pool area was a highlight for us and our child loved the lazy river, waterfalls, and especially the sandy-bottom lagoon (it was perfect for our little one to splash in safely.) The resort’s beachfront location offers stunning views, though the waves can be strong, so the protected lagoon is a great alternative for toddlers. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and they provided a crib for us upon request. When we got our crib it included a lovely stuffed animal and shampoo and lotion. Dining was easy with multiple family-friendly restaurants, and staff are accommodating when it comes to little diners. Everyone was so friendly! Kiernan and Erin at the Grand Club were awesome and Cam at check-in was so kind and accommodating and helped us find a room that best suited our needs. Definitely check out the 9am feeding of the koi at the koi pond - our toddler LOVED feeding the fish. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Kauai strikes the perfect balance between luxury and family-friendly fun, making it a fantastic choice for a memorable Hawaiian vacation with little ones! 🌺👶🏖️

Outstanding service, and comfortable rooms. Interiors need a refresh.
This is a lovely resort that needs some updating. Service is excellent. Food is hit and miss and sometimes overpriced. For example, the sushi at Stevenson's Library was outstanding and a good value. Tide Pools food was average. The outside of the resort is very well maintained. The inside is showing it's age and wear and tear. It could use some updating.
