Go to Jamaica, go to Negril, go to Beachcomber
We liked the place. Dominique the ower did whatever we wanted. It was a very pleasant stay. A few steps and you are on the seven mile beach with all the restaurants. On the other side of the street you have a department store. An excellent spot to spend your vacation.

The Absolute Best Hotel in Negril
The absolute best hotel on the beach. It is just south of Margaritaville right in the middle of the 7 mile beach - where all the action is. The rooms are huge. We had a two bedroom suite each with a private bathroom and a full kitchen and dining room with an extra guest washroom. The main attraction is the huge deck that is hands down the largest on the beach, with beautiful French doors that open out and give so much living space. The beach had lots of room for shade and sun, and was set back from all the beach walkers. Our chairs set every morning with towels, and brought in every night. The water was beautiful, safe and clean, with the most amazing sunsets you will ever see. Dominique and her staff were great and very responsive to any of our requests. There was even a gym right next door with fresh smoothies and other treats, and a full store at the road entrance. We thoughouly enjoyed our stay and recommend the place highly.

Beautiful place with amazing people
We had a great time at Beachcomber! Sure there are some updates and improvements that can be made but we were not there to sit in our room. The beach is what we wanted and Beachcomber has the most beautiful beach area! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for fancy and luxurious resort this may not be for you, but if you want laid back and relaxing, you will find it-at Beachcomber.

An oasis on our favorite beach
A repeat stay and not our last. Walking, swimming, access to restaurants and the awesome location bring us back. The owner always makes us feel special. New improvements every time we stay. WiFi and tv access are spotty but she took care of the WiFi issue for us. Our security and beach guys were great. Already planning our next visit!!

a very disappointing expenience
First of all, lets list the amenities that the beachcomber says it has that it doesnt, There is a tv, its doesnt work though Swimming pool out of order (and tiny), no currency exchange,no game room or bar. we did have a fridge but our neighbouring holiday makers said they didnt have one. The landlady accepts cash only, so we were frog marched down to the atm in negril village the next morning to draw the balance out in dribs and drabs. I really was not happy with this situation, what business does not accept card in this day and age ? Most of the guesthouses and resorts on seven mile beach have their swimming area roped & buoyed off to keep boats out. The beachcomber does not. Boats are always encroaching into the water from margaritaville next door which really doesnt make it safe for swimming in. The rooms while large, are dated and need redecorating A couple of pros to mention as i dont want the review to be too negative, the beds are large and very comfortable, and the air con is very good and dominique, the owner is very pleasant and chatty to be fair and she keeps her section of the beach very well. To sum the beachcomber up, its could be very good and by all accounts it was in the past but now its a shadow of itself and thats a shame for such a lovely central location.
