Celebration of our 51th Anniversary
We have been visiting the Grand Oasis Cancun for 21 years (next year it will be #22). The resort staff is friendly, helpful, and show that they care for those who vacation at the resort. This involves not just the manager, but also the concierges, the restaurant staff, those that clean the rooms, etc. The grounds are well kept and every year we see signs of them working to improve the structures and grounds. The rooms are clean and well maintained and those that clean the rooms do an excellent job. The pool is kept clean and well maintained. The beach is big and taken care of by the resort. The food was delicious!! If you are looking for a great resort to vacation at: The Grand Oasis Cancun should be at the top of your list.

I have booked and paid and I came
This hotel is a scam They market cheap price on the basis on 12 restaurants 5 bars 5 beach clubs but in reality they give you basic room which does not give access to all Amenities, you have to pay additional for restaurants and access to clubs Very disappointing and misleading

We loved our stay!
The hotel is older, but is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was great, with lots of choices and options. The pool area is amazing! The beach is beautiful. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. We had a great time! ❤️

BIG Resort, Huge swimming pools nice structure, RUDE SERVERS, POOR STAFF POOR ROOMS
Went for my birthday with my family wife, 2 children and we booked another room for my mother and aunt, the check in process was okay, the staff was not friendly, we had to take our luggage to the room since there was no one to help us, long walk to the tower, the resort has a nice structure, is huge however, swimming pools are huge, the food is okay, lots of restaurants and choices however not all are included, you have to be carefull otherwise you could be charge at check out time, staff are not friendly no customer service orented in comparison with other resorts, the service is very poor and even rude, the first night when we went for dinner there was a very long line out of the buffet, does not feel like being in a resort but seems like a community place for low income people, bunch of people, no controls, I did not like it at all and I will never go back, never able to go on the beach, the whole week was with RED FLAG and I asked other guest and same for previous week, very bad location in open sea not swimmible, Drinks are bad, food average, STAFF, server are the worst, I would choose other resort like Dreams, Riu, Melia, even Krystal much better

My 4th time in Mexico and it’s was the worst one
We arrived from London; this is not our first time in Mexico. Unfortunately, our luggage was lost, and I assumed that staying at a 5-star hotel would mean the staff would at least be helpful with basic needs like phone chargers. However, that was not the case. At this hotel, if you need anything, you have to pay for it. At check-in, we were charged $100 per room (we booked two rooms), which seemed steep for the hotel environment. When we finally got to our rooms, I was speechless. I took pictures, which I can share, but to summarize: we paid £6,500 for four people, and I was expecting at least clean rooms and good food. Instead, we spent three days without our luggage, stressed about the condition of the rooms. Eventually, we managed to get another room that was a bit cleaner, but still far from acceptable. This hotel operates two separate areas: the Pyramid and the Grand Oasis, each with separate restaurants and check-in/check-out processes. It felt discriminatory. Based on my experience, I’m certain that the rooms in the Pyramid are just as old and unkempt as the Grand Oasis ones. The only thing I truly loved about this hotel was the seaside—it’s truly heaven. However, if you have a blue bracelet, you’ll struggle to find a sunbed, as there aren’t many available. Meanwhile, the black bracelet guests have access to everything. At the main party bar, I witnessed drugs being sold openly—it felt like a mafia operation. Everyone there seemed high or drunk, and the environment was obviously only suitable for adults. If you’re 25, don’t care about the hotel’s environment, food, or service, and just want to party, this might be the place for you. But if you’re looking for a decent vacation, my advice is to AVOID the Oasis Cancun. I even saw multiple people falling because of poor lighting and a lack of signs on the floor. This was the worst vacation experience I’ve ever had, and I will never return to Cancun again. Cancun used to be so much better!
