Honeymoon
We stayed at the Bavaro suites in Grand Palladium in Punta Cana. It was a junior suite with garden view. Room was nice but some electrical outlets didnt work and shower was lukewarm warm. Room did come with a safe and a fully stocked with drinks in fridge. Location is amazing for pools and walk up bars, staff is generally nice but knowing some Spanish is a must to get by. Advertised as adult only with Bavaro side of resort, but had a lot of kids there. Better to book at Punta Cana resort side or Palace side of the 4 hotel resort for better access to the resort amenities.

We'll return!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this resort! ROOMS: The beds and pillows are very comfortable. I didn't feel like the rooms were cleaned SUPER well, but they were clean enough. Certainly dated, but I expected that, so it wasn't a big deal to me. My kids' room next door was a loft suite, and it smelled musty. Our room was fine, except that one night the AC in the ceiling leaked water all over the floor. They fixed it the next day. FOOD: Everyone called out the buffet in the Palace section of the resort, but we FAR preferred the buffet by the Punta Cana pool/lobby. Overall, the a la cartes were pretty good. The Italian does really well with pizza and strombolis. When we return I'll just order the stromboli. The Indian restaurant was our favorite. We also enjoyed the Mexican and both Bamboo and Sumptouri. SERVICE: Maribel at the Palace lobby was a FANTASTIC server! She was so attentive and had our drinks ready before we even ordered. William at the Palace pool bar was also a standout! He gets to know everyone and made my daughter feel like a VIP with their secret handshake. After visiting AI resorts in Mexico, I will say the staff overall doesn't seem as friendly, but I wonder if perhaps it's more of a difference in expectations. No one was rude to me, but there were only a few people who I'd say really REALLY tried to be a service star. And yes, we tip. POOLS: OK, it's not the resort's fault, but good grief, people, stop with the chair claiming if you're not going to sit in them! We go and grab chairs before breakfast, but only when we know we'll use them, and then when we're done our pool time, we clear them off. There were so many chairs with towels claiming them, and you wouldn't see a soul on them all day. Very frustrating. The pools were clean, and service around them was nice. BEACH: PHENOMENAL! We really enjoyed our beach days - no rocks at all, and the waves were fun without being overwhelming. Overall, have fun, read reviews before you go, and don't expect to love every single aspect of the place. If you get food you don't care for, get something else. If you get a drink you don't love, order another. I think if you go knowing to expect a few imperfections, you'll be happy at this resort.

Tennis Pro Coach Edwin the Best thing at Grand Palladium
We were a group of 8 people who came to play tennis. We came two years ago in 2023 and stayed primarily at Grand Palladium Punta Cana Suites. We got to know Coach Edwin the Pro coach and he made the trip unforgettable. The sports centre is great. Shout out to Constantino who gave us a private archery lesson which was tons of fun. They have just upgraded the courts - 4 in total + 1 for pickle ball.

I wanted to love it!
I have been a loyal supporter of the Palladium for 14 years now. We have stayed at several of the resorts and always loved the properties and the customer service. We generally stay for ten days at a time and bring 12-14 people with us when we come. Unfortunately, I think after this trip we will be trying something else. The resort itself is beautiful; the beach is one of the best I have ever seen! The problem started when we arrived: three of the couples were told the room they booked (Romance Villas), which we love as they are located next to the beach, were unavailable. These rooms were booked 10 months in advance! The next issue was the food safety, which needs drastic improvement. Six of us ended up with diarrhea for most of the 10 days we were there. One day we had no water, meaning no toilets! Imagine that while having stomach issues! OMG, what a nightmare. We had no internet for two days, meaning no TV, phones, or WIFI to access emails and responsibilities of work, etc. The mini-bar fridge stopped working; however, they did replace it fairly fast. The beer in the room was only stocked twice in the 10 days we were there. The beach is absolutely stunning, but it is destroyed by the constant flow of vendors selling cigars, jewelry, excursions, clothing, photos, weed, etc. Literally every 3-5 minutes, so forget about relaxing! This was like nothing I have ever seen and ruins the beach experience, which is what we travel for. We are not pool people! I am not sure what has happened to the Palladium Resorts, We used to get VIP wristbands for being loyal, fruit baskets ands a bottle of liquor in the room for being loyal and for being rewards members, Discounts on massages and room upgrades, this is all part of being a rewords member and we never recieved any of it. We will be planning the next vacation in two months but unfortunately it will not be at a palladium resort
