Simply Not The Best
We were here for a week on a business appreciation trip with 250 of our closest friends. Lets start out with the good. Check in was very easy. For the most part all of the staff were very nice and helpful. The grounds were beautiful, clean and well kept. Now the bad. The resort is very large and not easy to get around at. It was very difficult to get rides on the golf carts as they were full all of the time or nowhere to be found. So we found ourselves walking most of the time. Some days over 7 miles according to our trackers. Our room was a Suite in building 13. Pretty centrally located but far from the beach and village. Going to either was a pretty long walk. The room had a very strong bad smell of mold or mildew and was excessively humid and damp the entire week. Also, we disliked the fact there was no bottled water, only canned that wasn't the most ideal to drink from. As far as the food, don't waste your time on the specialty restaurants. It was difficult to get a reservation and the food was not good at all! In reading the reviews it sounded like the Indian was a favorite. But never open. Eat the buffets or at the sports bar. The beach was nice, but if you're not a member of some elite club, you're not allowed to sit in the quitter not as busy areas. The week we were there the weather was pretty awful. Chilly, cloudy and rainy. With that being said, there was absolutely nothing to do when its raining. No activities or games of any kind. Needless to say, we would not recommend this resort.

Le Petit Chef Experience
Thank you to Ricardo and Fernando! We went to Le Petit Chef experience at the resort. I can’t express how awesome that experience was!! The server Ricardo ensured that we were always tended to, he was very attentive and always had a smile on his face. He is an excellent waiter. The chef Fernando, although not as petit as the chefs in the animation, made sure to greet us and made incredible courses! The food was very delicious and the plating was impressive! The experience was definitely worth it, I recommend it to anyone who is interested in an interactive food experience.

Great escape from Northern winter
This was my second visit to this resort. Would have been perfect but for the all day jackhammering and and drilling that prevented us from sitting on our balconies or opening our sliding doors. I appreciate that such work is necessary to maintain high standards but believe a rate reduction or offer of another room should have been offered. Apart from that, the grounds, shows and services were 5 star.

Good service , food was tasty
Service really good and food is really tasty. I really like how they were able to make accommodations for us and make us feel really special, especially Luis , he was able to handle minor inconveniences and some miscommunication with staff but I really appreciated how he came through for me and made exceptions for my guest and I!!
