A place to come if you like loud party music pass midnight.

We started coming the the Grand Palladium about 20 years ago. It was newer, clean and quiet with beautiful sandy beach that you relax all day there. Before this last stay at the Palladium this December was about 5 years ago. Yes, noticed a little older but overall still very presentable and quiet ,a great place to come to relax in Mexico. But This time in December, we noticed the upkeep of the resort seems to be going down hill. Broken and some very old and dirty looking beach lounge chairs everywhere. We also learned that since there's now a chapel on the resort property. Very loud wedding parties happen almost every night during the non-raining season .The overly loud music don't stop until at least midnight. We have to request to move to a quieter room after 3 nights. The food was good enough for us. Good varieties but seems gear towards more of the local taste. The fresh fruit counter was my favorite, good varieties that changes all the time. The worse part was that it took 3 requests and a week before we have some guy come and ask if there's any problem! All we needed was a light bulb replacement!! Then on the 2nd last day before we head home, the safe stopped working. thank goodness we got our stuff out already. After reporting it, a maintenance man came, didn't speak a word of English, seem rather impatient, try to explain something in Spanish. I shown him how the safe is now working right, he tried, said something and never return!! So next morning before depart to go home, we had to carry all our valuables around for breakfast and lunch. Good help is hard to find even in Mexico I guess!

    Well managed

Stayed for a week in Family Selection and want to call out Omar the manager for being accommodating, creative, and very reasonable. The beach on FS was protected and nearly empty, the food well made, and drinks generous. We did have an issue where another guest accidentally flooded our room, and Omar made arrangements for us.

    Great experience!

Fantastic resort. Excellent hardworking staff. Shoutout to Manuel in the lobby bar, Bernardo & Marina in the infinity pool bar! Cleaning staff kept everything in tip top shape and any minor issues that arose the staff made right pleasantly and quickly. Beautiful beach, food was good. Show up to the buffet during non busy times. I recommend the Italian restaurant and the Spa. Lots of stairs so not for anyone with mobility issues. Comfy beds. Will definitely be back!

    Excellent stay

Excellent service, comfortable and clean room with a great view over the surf break, beautiful beach and food that exceeded our expectations. This was our first stay here and my first time at an all inclusive and we had a really wonderful experience.

Great Surf Frolicking Whales & Sun

December 6-13, 2024: This is our seventh visit to the Grand Palladium Resort in Puerto Vallarta. Our sixth with our family from British Columbia Canada. A special surfing family event celebrating annually a birthday at the Palladium. This year seemed a bonus year as everything from beginning to end was excelente including return flights on WestJet from YYZ. Being very familiar with the checkin routine at the Palladium, it was even more friendlier, courteous and exactly as requested. Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View as we had a few visits previous. Clean, equipped and excelente view of the ocean, fantastic surf and adult pool. During our stay, we found the entire staff courteous, smiling, some interesting conversational, always willing to help and make our family visit, great. The grounds are clean and well maintained. One pleasant change was eliminating the zoo and replacing it with a beautiful tropical jungle for nature lovers or a place to just read The bars are happy and service oriented. The best compliments go out to Bernardo at the adult Infinity pool bar for great smiling service and the special birthday pineapple 🍍 offering. More impressive was the great welcome and service provided (twice ) by Hostess Brenda and the team of professionals servers and sommelier at Portofino. A classy Italian culinary gem with pleasant background music at the resort. Another recommendation is the great staff and menu at the La Terazza Steak House…international food or build a surf and tender turf. Surf was great, beach clean, well maintained and relaxing for Tai Chi and yoga. Lots of whales frolicking in the bay. As it was the Virgin of Guadalupe celebration, an opportunity to chat and learn about Mexico. All-in-all a fabulous week in paradise. My recommendation is to learn a bit of Spanish to further your enjoyment and appreciation of Mexico. !Hasta la proxima! 🇲🇽
