    Don’t be fooled!

Please be aware when going to this resort. My first day when I walked in I immediately dreaded coming to this hotel. The rooms are soo outdated. The bathroom has rust everywhere. The sheets and mattress are so old that there are food crumbs on it and red stains. The second day here the sheets were changed and they are so dirty. We requested for the sheets to be changed and nothing was done. The pools are nice but if you are looking for a nice hotel Room Please don’t come here! This is definitely not a 5 star.

    Fab holiday

We have been here nearly 2 weeks( flying home tomorrow) and have had a great time ROOMS We stayed in room 4614, a little tired. The room maid has been excellent ( sorry, I don't know her name) RESTAURANTS The buffets can get a bit hectic. We only ate in these twice on an evening. The al a cartes were superb. We tried all of them apart from the Raw Bar. LOBBY BAR This can get very busy and the staff work very hard to fulfil the orders. STAFF We would like to say thank you to the following staff who made our holiday so enjoyable. Ruth in the lobby bar Mario in the lobby bar Alexandria in our concierge Joanne in the saono restaurant

Great family resort! We enjoyed our week very much. Food was very good, beautiful beach, good service, clean, nice room.

Great family resort, we enjoyed our stay! Good food, nice room (had a couple minor issues but promptly addressed when brought up to the concierge for our section). Friendly service (only 1-2 specific bartenders often said out of drinks that required more effort aka blending)), clean, great entertainment, beautiful gardens, good coffee shop, unlimited a la carte restaurants good food, excellent & friendly reception desk service from Sandy! Only complaint was after checkout experience with the courtesy shower: manager was not very warm, other families came into the shower room with their key while ours was using it, not enough clean towels, all but one shower out of service and no hot water or shampoo or soap.

    It is what it is

Me and my wife have just got back from the grand sirenis. This was our second time back and nothing as really changed a few great members of staff. Blondie is a great lad and a new member of the family. Room service really needs a shake up and we found them to be lazy and didn’t do much no tips left. Buffet staff was lazy as well wife had to get knifes and forks. But that sort of thing doesn’t bother us. When you hear how much these guys are paid for what they do you’d understand. We always tipped staff for a good service to show our appreciation and it was greatly appreciated. Tipped the ground keepers and entertainment staff. All in all a holiday is what you make it not where you are. Keep up the good work

    GRAND SIRENIS...GOOD CHOICE!

The Grand Sirenis resort was very good. The price was excellent and the service was good. Some items that you should be sure to take along with you....washcloths, rafts that you can use at the resort and then leave there for someone else to use. The restaurants were good and our favorite was the Brazilian....just don't eat too much from the salad bar as they will bring around different meats on skewers which are excellent. The other difficult part is that there are not paper menus and you need your cell phone to access the menus. We may also suggest that you do not get a room near the stage area as the music is extremely loud. Also, some of the buildings are "causeways" to get to other rooms throughout the complex. Paper maps of the resort are not available as well. The pools were super clean and the resort area was well kept. At certain times, getting a beverage from the bars was difficult with long lines and only a single bartender at some locations. The best bar was located near the Steak house as it was generally not crowded. There are some shops located adjacent to the resort and I would suggest using the shop along the side and not the "Walmart" gift shop. Please be careful when purchasing bracelets made of Larimar and be sure that the seller uses a lighter to heat the beads to endure that it is Larimar that you are purchasing and not a fake. The food at the buffets was good and if you couldn't find what you liked...that was on you....there is a large variety! If you are expecting to get "High end food "....this is not the place for you. The food is very good! The workers at the resort were extremely nice and helpful. Our toilet got clogged and I had to ask several times to have it unblocked...be sure to be "aggressive" when asking for things. You need to book your restaurant choices in advance and I would suggest that you do so for the entire week at one time so that you have arrangements in advance. Be sure to get your towels to the beach as early as you can to "reserve" your spots. There is a designated swimming area and when we were there the ocean was a bit rough so kayaking was not permitted. We did not snorkel at the resort because of the churning of the ocean while we were there. Please be careful when booking excursions from the resort....we used Amstar and were very pleased with the results. I would also suggest some towel clips for the beach loungers to keep your towel in place. Overall, our experience at the resort was very good and we had an awesome time.
