My wife and I returned after an absence of three years. There were many changes, some to our liking and others not so much. These are our opinions only. Good: the food at the buffet was great, not to say it was not good the last time we visited! The grounds are just as nice and the beach was well kept (it was sargassum season, sadly). We were not impressed with the coffee shop changing to mostly a nighttime venue. The lobbies and buffet rooms had way too many artificial plants. Also, the resort opened two more bar areas on the beach which we thought unnecessary. My wife and I had an overall feeling that the resort went a little overboard trying to look "fancier." Final opinion is we would still consider going to this resort and recommend it for anyone else. The changes we did not like are minor and can be overlooked.

Amazing stay for a group of 4!
We arrived at the resort and immediately fell in love! It is absolutely beautiful. We had a non renovated room, but honestly didn’t even notice until my husband said it. You spend so little time in the room I couldn’t have cared less. Some people are really too picky. The balcony was perfect, the room was large and clean. And always multiple bottles of water and beer restocked! We spent most of our time at the activity pool (across from the butcher’s restaurant) what a fun pool! The drinks and bartenders were amazing and we had so much fun doing the entertainment games everyday. Daniel & Gigi really stood out to us, they work so hard making sure everyone is having a great time. We finally were able to secure a prize our last full day! Never an issue getting a lounger with shade. I do wake up early and would be down between 7-8am to read my book before going for breakfast, but even by 10am there was still good spots left! No one goes down to reserve and not show up for hours which was such a nice change from other places we stayed. That beach is huge and you will never not find somewhere good to sit. We spent most days at the pool though. Breakfast and dinner buffets were spectacular. Not a single complaint, an endless amount of options! Wildlife was abundant The lazy river was the best part. So fun to float with a drink for a lap or two daily! Will 100% come back! P.s This resort is huge. You will get your steps! Wear comfy sandals!!

Always a great time at Grand Sirenis
We always have a great time when we visit this resort. The beach is great, views are beautiful, and it has a ton of great amenities. The lazy river is a nice way to unwind after doing some activities. We especially appreciated the service we received from Barbara at the sky bar. Barbara was always very friendly & kind, and quick with the drinks!

Mario at Carnal!
Mario was our server at restaurant Carnal! Great service and food, specialist cocktails made to order! Starter was amazingly g along with the main but the show stopper was the dessert- de-constructed carrot cake…needs to be seen to be believed! All accompanied by great dancing, singing and entertainment! !

Great bike tour with Cecilio, Grand Sirenis
Cecelio was an amazing bike tour guide - we had the best time. We thought it would be just a trip through the resort but it was so much more! Lovely guided tour of nearby botanical gardens, local cenote visit for photos, past the chapel on the beach. He provided loads of local knowledge and was funny too. Gracias Cecilio!
