Mar 29, 2025Fantastic resort, and I travel a lot...
As you can see by my contributions on Tripadvisor, I don’t just comment on one or 2 places where I have had issues so I would like to set the record straight on the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort after reading a lot of negative comments over Christmas. We have stayed all-inclusive all over the world and I have to say, this is one of the best all-inclusive experiences we have ever had. Although the Resort doesn’t show 5 stars in some areas (few pool tiles missing and some tired areas) the service standards are 5 stars, from the staff to the food, I have found it really difficult to find anything negative to say about our holiday. Our room was in block 11, it looks like we had a newly renovated room, the whirlpool bath was a great edition to, I used it a few times and it was lovely. The room attendants were excellent, and the cleanliness was spotless. The only maintenance issue we had during our stay was that the shower overflowed the first time we used it, I reported the issue, and it was seen to and resolved within a matter of minutes. The grounds are fabulous, the wildlife is just somewhere out of this world with the monkeys being great fun to watch, very strange to sunbathe around monkeys. We found the u-shaped pool our favourite, it was nice and quiet, but the main pool does a lot for young groups and kids if that’s what you are into. We even caught a pool foam party. Cocktails, work your way through the menu, they are amazing, just remember to pack your own plastic straws, you don’t get straws with your drinks, and they are needed with some cocktails. My favourites were Pina Colada and Lemon Drop. Food in the main buffet restaurant, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were all excellent, spoiled for choice every day and a huge variety on offer. The specialist restaurants were all good too, we ate at the Japanese Teppanyaki, Mexican and Butchers but were hearing great reviews on the Italian, Asian Street Food and Carnal. No one will go hungry here, there is so much choice. We didn’t experience any negative staff during our stay, every member of staff we encountered acknowledged us wherever we were on the resort. The staff can’t do enough for you, everywhere, even the guys driving the buggy’s, always stop and ask if we want a lift, they really do make this place special. I was worried over Christmas about reading all the negative reviews, I have come to the conclusion that the resort had a room renovation on the run up to Christmas which over ran causing a lot of check in problems. If we ever return to Riviera Maya, we will be booking this resort again, we have had a fantastic time and really didn’t want to come home, thank you for a great stay.

Amazing Place. Must Stay
Just stayed a week at this resort and it was incredible right from start. Let me just say if u ever see a negative review towards this amazing structure of a resort the person writing is crazy insane. From decor to Pools all over. U want 2 massive activity pools with swim up. Quiet mid resort inner jungle feel pool. My gawd watching swinging monkeys and lizards all while away from noise and right next to beach. Cooking steaks and pork n chicken wings burgs hotdogs fruits snacks u name it. Gorgeous beaches all around it. Rooms were so clean and new n beds were fantastic. Most of all the staff. Yes when u check in they could explain how to get around this total Mint walkways massive amounts of a la carts. Nooo worry booking any. Sunset bars. Night bars. Incredible theatre. The Staff everywhere was friendly and amazing service everywhere. Breakfast buffet by pool unreal. Main buffet crazy unreal If u go to Mya Riveria and dont stay here your loss. Gorgeous resort. Top of line 4 diamond stud resort Cant wait to go back

Awesome 2 weeks - thanks Cali
Just spent two weeks here. Recent renovations are spectacular. Special thanks to Cali at the members beach club swim up bar - made the best margaritas and was always extra attentive and great to talk too. Staff like Cali are the reason we keep coming back.

Kids Club and more!
Our children loved the Kids Club and all the activities that it had to offer! The Team were lovely and friendly, just the BEST! Thank you to Andy, Yaniz, Litsy, Monse and Paulina! Our kids had tons of fun and wanted to see you every day! The balloon and beach party, as well as the fire show, were a hit!🤗 The Grand Sirenis is a great resort with lots to do and great restaurants, friendly staff and clean pools and beautiful beach! We will be back.

Massage on the beach
I had a massage on the beach in the tower. Juana did an amazing job. Made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Strongly recommend this service. The cool breeze with the sound of the ocean made the experience even better. This is an excellent way to end a vacation.
