    Outstanding service at Calima along with good food.

    My wife and I enjoyed a meal at Calima, located in the Playa Grande Resort. We had a spectacular time. Our Server, Iris, was exceptional. From the moment we were seated she was made us feel at home. Iris paid attention to the small details and was so friendly. I wish our restaurants back in the States had servers with the work ethic and personality of Iris!! By the way, the food was excellent!

    Great service at Calima with Iris

    We’ve been coming to Palya Grande for over 10 years and love it here!! This morning we had the BEST service at Calima restaurant with Iris as our server! She was wonderful!! Our coffee never ran out and was always hot!! Her attentiveness was very impressive and her friendliness was heartwarming! We hope to be able to continue to have her every day if we can!

    A lovely stay

    Temezcal ceremony with Ana was a very special sacred journey. Lovely server Iris at outdoor restaurant. Mondays and Wednesdays there is a buffet event and the entertainment was campy fun. Our suite had a bathroom with some issues (slight disrepair) but they came in to do repairs promptly. Staff overall upbeat and responsive and a pleasure

    The most peaceful experience.

    We had a great time here. We unwound by the pool all week. Ramon was the most kind and respectful worker we had the pleasure of working with. Treated us like family. They have a family area with music and lots of kids, and they had an adults only area were you can get a quote and tranquil experience.

    Loved it!

    It is an absolutely beautiful resort! The colours, flowers, sunsets and sunrises had us captivated. We saw whales off the beach every morning, and jumping mobolua rays in the evenings. We loved everything from the evening fiestas to the to the tranquil, coffee-filled mornings. It was family-friendly, had warm and inviting entertainment staff and was overall a fantastic experience.
