Playa Grande is a wonderful resort. The accommodations and staff are top notch. There are activities for all ages every day. Not happy that the there was a $16.00/day charge because I booked through RCI

Amazing anniversary trip!
Amazing resort!!! Super Danny was the best at the pool! He took amazing care of us and was so so kind!!!! He always knew what we wanted and had everyone ready for us. He made our stay so much fun and we will definitely be back to the resort and so glad Super Danny is there for us!

Nov 30, 2024Great, until we got food poisoning!
We stayed for 6 nights, all inclusive over Thanksgiving week. The entertainment staff was great, the pool service was prompt and the pools were lovely (but cold). No swimming in the ocean, but we knew that in advance. The food was average overall, until 2 of us got food poisoning on different nights. I got it from Brigantine Restaurant (undercooked salmon or the salad, not sure which) and have never been so violently ill. My husband got food poisoning the next night from something he at the Beach Party buffet. This is our 3rd trip to Mexico and our first time getting sick. I can't recommend Playa Grande because of this...it's too bad because the place is quite well-run and geared for family fun. But food poisoning that takes 4 days to recover from will ruin a family trip.

Amazing Resort
Great location, amenities are really good. Views are really good. Fabian at Sports Bar provided excellent service. So did Jorge, Miriam and Miguel. Saw whales offshore while laying poolside. Staff is ver outgoing. Restaurants serve tasty meals. Fish tacos are amazing. The spa is fantastic.

Super Daniel is awesome! He took such great care of us at the pool. The pool food is great and love the tacos and tuna sashimi! The poolside entertainment is so much fun! Great group of kids. Something for everyone and every age! Our home away from home ⭐️💙⭐️
