Employees are the rudest I have encountered and I am extremely easy going and tip because I am in the service industry.
The people that work here are rude and condescending. If you like great and happy service this is not the place for you. I waited close to 2 hours to check in only be told that I must be moved the following day because the “owner” of the unit I am staying in (I booked through the Playa Grande website) is coming and wants the room. Ok great, not my problem. I was told I will be switching rooms at 1pm the following day and to be in room. No one showed up to move us so I called the front desk which the guy actually laughed at me on phone and was extremely passive aggressive. I travel all over the world and have NEVER dealt with this horrific, disrespectful service before. I had to re-wait in line to be told just go back to room and wait up to 1 or 2 more hours until other room is cleaned and ready. I just want to put my belongings down and go enjoy myself. Not to be told one thing by a worker to be a told another thing by another worker. Just waisted time and days trying to accommodate this hotel only to be laughed at. NEVER again! If you come here after reading this review you will surely see for yourself.

Terrible Front Desk Customer Service
We came to visit on the recommendation of friends since we have stayed in a few different resorts in the Cabo area. The front desk personnel that checked us in has ZERO CUSTOM SERVICE. I am writing this as we just checked and this just pissed me off enough to say something immediately. Resort is very nice as well as the rest of the staff. I am not this type of person to write a review but it made me mad enough to write. But, I am still looking forward to great week in CABO!!

Disappointing Stay at Playa Grande Resort
We traveled as a group of two families and chose Playa Grande Resort, expecting one of the better resorts in Los Cabos. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory, and we will neither recommend nor return. One of our families was initially offered a free upgrade to a master suite but was later asked to pay $75 for the upgrade—highly unprofessional and misleading. The amenities were disappointing. The gym is outdated, the beds and pillows are uncomfortably hard, and the sofa bed in the master suite was so uncomfortable that the kids struggled to sleep. Service was another letdown. Even though the food bills already include a 15% service charge, the waitstaff consistently insisted on tips, claiming that the management does not share the service charge with them. Additionally, the resort ran out of pool towels twice during our stay, which is unacceptable for a supposedly high-end property. For families with children, the resort offers very little. The only activity for kids was mini-golf, and they even charged $20 per child for the Concorde. When you stay at a premium resort, you expect to relax and enjoy without constant frustrations like these. Unfortunately, Playa Grande Resort failed to deliver on even basic expectations, leaving us extremely unhappy with our stay.

Brigatine!!
We went to dinner at brigantine on our last night at Playa Grande and couldn’t have had a better ending to an amazing vacation. Oscar and the rest of the staff at Brigatine are absolutely wonderful paired with amazing food, you can’t go wrong!
