Mar 01, 20255 Star Hotel for sure!
World class hotel! Best ocean views and staff! Carlos our entertainment guy was amazing! He took us for kayaking and played beach volleyball… always had a smile on his face! I must say the welcome massage in the lobby when we arrived was the best surprise and so good! Great way to start your stay!

The hotel is beautiful, the pool is amazing, the service is great and the restaurants r good. The problem is they have no hot water so if u dont mind cold showers, this place is a good choice. We reported this issue to hotel staff but they were unable to resolve and they offered nothing in terms of compensation. When u spend 4,370 for 4 nites, expecting a hot shower is not too much to ask

This resort deserves more than five stars!
The Grand Velas Riveria Nayarit is by far one of the best resorts we have visited. This was our third time staying here and it gets better each time. From the hotel, to the pool, to the food, everything is amazing. What puts this resort over the top is the staff. Our personal concierge Ramon has worked with our family on every trip since the first and provides everything we could possibly need. From reservations, to activity information, to changes we require he is always there and available. At the pool, pool concierges Raymundo and Eduardo, along with pool captain Jose were there to help us find a spot for the entire family and if one was not available they would make us one. They were also always around to move umbrellas and keep us in the shade. The bar service at the pool was also fantastic. We had Gabriel and Miguel for most of the week and they were always around to make sure our drinks stayed full and also provided drink recommendations and explanations for new things they suggested we try. The service at all of the restaurants is unbelievable. At Azul, Ricardo and Pablo were amazing. They stayed attentive and provided extras such as fruit plates or over the top sundae's for the kids. At the restaurants we had Carlos at Lucca, Francisco at Piaf and Carlos at Frida. Not only did the provide amazing friendly service, but the also provided recommendations for food and drinks. As mentioned, this is our third time visiting this resort and we are already planning our next visit.

Best Birthday Trip!
Best time as always! Just celebrated my birthday with friends for half the week and then my husband for the second half at Grand Velas and had such a great time!! This is my 8th time vacationing here and it is always the easy button for a perfect vacation. The resort size (intimate but not lacking for anything), amenities, activities, food, accommodations, beach, service, and entertainment are TOP NOTCH. We have stayed at many Four Season properties, and we keep coming back to Grand Velas! From the welcome massages to the waiters who become friends….to the concierge who arranged everything from transportation from the airport to a balloon Happy Birthday display in the room…this trip was a 5 star mix of fun, relaxation, and celebration! We had an amazing whale watching excursion, bike tour, beach walks, Pilates class, and massage at the spa! Thank you as always Luis, Leonel, and everyone else who helped make this birthday girl feel special! Oh…..and did I mention the PERFECT WEATHER and amazing sunsets?????

Amazing Staff
The staff make this resort! We travel alot and never have l seen such dedicated and service oriented staff! The resort is beautiful and clean! Food is amazing but the staff make this place rock! They tend to your every need! We will definitely be back!
