Easily one of the nicest places we've ever been to. We can't get over how well the place is maintained, how nice the staff were and how beautiful the views were. We spent a few weeks researching where to take our vacation and ended up booking with Grotto Bay after a few recommendations from friends and family, and now we know why! Our next vacation will without a doubt be back here!

Our favorite place, always!
Like coming home with over 18 visits to Bermuda, Grotto Bay is a welcome sight! The property has been perfectly located for us over the years providing water activities, great dining, and travel ease with nearby bus stops. What makes Grotto Bay really special is its outstanding staff. All are welcoming and go out of their way to ensure that everything is perfect from delicious food to well manicured lawn and gardens, to quick attention to any maintenance needs. Also to be noted, is that our mobility concerns were readily addressed by the caring staff. The recent remodeling of restaurants, bar, and lobby area blend well with traditional Bermudian features of the buildings inside and out. Hoping to return soon and once again see our favorite place and people.

A Bermudaful vacation!
This was our second visit to this wonderful island. The renovations at Grotto Bay are now complete and they are spectacular. Wall to wall windows in all the dining areas overlooking the beautiful views. The location is not the only thing that is amazing . Even more amazing are the staff at Grotto Bay. Everyone made us feel totally welcome almost as if we were family. We used bus passes to explore the island every day. If someone got on the bus and said “Good morning”, everyone replied “Good morning”. Our kind of place. No gaudy billboards or overrun with fastfood restaurants. Beautiful beaches to explore and a quiet charm everywhere. We love Bermuda and are sure to return.

Paradise!
I couldn’t fault this hotel. The room was lovely with a view over the pool and beach and the bed was SO comfortable. There’s a huge variety of food and drink available, served by really friendly staff. We swam in the sea every morning, followed by a dip in the pool and then the hot tub! Swimming in the cave was an amazing experience and the cave massage was incredible. The local bus and ferry service are excellent and make it easy to explore the island. There was a very talented guitarist playing on Monday evening. I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Awesome vacation
What a wonderful hotel. We went there as a family of seven. We enjoyed our stay very much staff could not have be nicer. In particular, the weight staff were very professional and kind. Esteban and George, as well as the other waitstaff took good care of us. Even with the bad weather cold and super windy we still had a great time at Grotto Bay.
