Clean, quiet hotel with good location
Relatively quiet for Granada, this hotel is not far from the main street with all the restaurants. It is clean and comfortable, but a bit pricey. Nonetheless, the overall experience was good. The staff was all very friendly, which helped, and the breakfast and coffee were good. Also, there is purified water in a tank to refill your bottle. Small anecdote: the shower heater was broken and water was spraying everywhere. I had to put my hands on it while showering. On the bright side, there was hot water!

Would definitely stay at the Guesthouse Los Corredores del Castillo, again!
The staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. We were sad to leave after our week long stay. The air conditioned room was clean, secure, and the beds were very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and had a lovely courtyard. The outdoor dining was a treat! The Guesthouse Los Corredores del Castillo is located just a couple of blocks from the historic, downtown. What a gem!

Ok hotel, not cheap
We stayed here for 2 nights during Christmas. It is not cheap, but the staff is friendly! We didn't eat here or stay long in the hotel in general, because the most important street of Granada is just around the corner! Still, the hotel is in a bit of a rough street. If you need, the uncle of the owner can drive you to the airport in Managua for $30, which is not a cheap deal but it is safe. Especially if you're done with traveling via chicken bus all the time.. For a good night out, go to Riley's!

Do not recommend
We stayed there with a group in February. The street where this hostel is located is not to recommend to go alone at night ´or after dark. This was recommended also from the Hostel staff. The Manager was miserable. She was of no help - maybe she just dont want to. The new rooms on the first floor were nice decorated - but you could hear your nabour from 2 doors away. You could hear everything in the room - even the noisy AC from your nabour. underneath. The breakfast was okay - but not something special. The smell in the bathroom was terrible - even if you Close the door. The other staff in the Hostel was very friendly - except the young Manager. She was a no go. I would not recommend this Hostel.

Great Value, location, and service!
My friend and I came to Granada and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We were greeted by the general manager Alejandra, who was extremely friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and spacious. Every morning we had free coffee (for $5.00, you can get breakfast). The wifi was free and was excellent (we have found it is spotty at some places in Nicaragua). We got good value for our money (paid around $45.00 US a night). The place was also a 10 minute walk from Central Park and 5 minutes from the street filled with bars/restaurants. The best part was how helpful the general manager was- she arranged tours for us, taxi services, called restaurants to check if they were opened, and have us maps to help us find places. She let us store our luggage in a room after we checked out for the entire day.
