Wonderful location!
Fantastic location. Surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. Easy to get up the subway. Hotel lobby was lovely. Our room on the street was loud, luckily we had booked a larger room facing the back and was much quieter. Room was clean, shower leaked water on the floor when using. Grout was dirty. Staff was very polite and helpful. We had a wonderful stay in Madrid.

A wonderful hotel on the Gran Via.
What a great place to stay in Madrid! The hotel is on the Gran Via and is very central. It's a quick walk to the metro which was very helpful for getting around. We arrived early and were hoping to store our luggage while we went walking. The front desk clerk checked with housekeeping and told us to sit for a few minutes and our room would be ready. Just a few minutes later she came and checked us into our room. We had a room at the back with an extra sitting area, something we wanted because we were booked for six nights and knew that we wouldn't be out exploring every minute of the day. The extra seating meant we didn't have to sit on the bed. We had a "balcony" overlooking the back street so we could have some fresh air without all the noise of the Gran Via. The balcony door also let in lots of natural light. The front desk clerk also gave us some excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit. Also, the lobby area is a relaxing place to sit and read or have a glass of wine.

Excellent Choice in Central Madrid!
Look no further if you like a first class, centrally located hotel. The Villa de la Reina is a beautiful boutique property located on the gorgeous Gran Via. The hotel exudes charm and class when you enter the front doors, beautiful lounge and sleek bar... all really buzzing with good energy. The rooms, while smaller, are nicely appointed. We were in A Gran Via Balcony Room, 305. It was perfect! The staff are very customer centric - Victoria at the Front Desk is one of the best. She's helpful, friendly and genuinely cares. Roberto and Lena (I think that is her name, she's relatively new) gave excellent service is the very nice Breakfast Room. Juan at the bar is very charming and makes a fabulous Negroni and French 75. When we return to Madrid, the H10 Villa de la Reina is where we will return. Thank you for a lovely trip!

Convenient Stay
I had a King Bed stay on 4th floor. Room isn't too spacious but there was a lot of closet space. Hot Breakfast Buffet was included. Linens were clean and air conditioner unit functioned properly. No window view so the air conditioning and ventilation options were important. The best thing about this hotel is its location on the Gran Via because it's super central to all of Madrid metropolitan area.
