    Paradise, Nothing Less

    We stayed for only a week (qué lástima) at this lovely island of beauty in Puerto Vallarta. To begin, the Mexican people are beautiful from the inside out. The tall, surrounding walls of rooms created a garden experience in the center. First, the staff seemed genuinely joyful working there & it showed. The food was plentiful, drinks NOT watered & the pool was fantastic. We lunched at the poolside snack bar & were very satisfied. Having mobility issues, I got flannel-footed & landed on my chest. The resort medical staff were immediate & beyond excellent. Special thanks from one military veteran to another ("German", you're a great man). Leaving the resort, numerous shops were proximate including a Superstore almost directly attached, containing everything you desire. There were a few Spring Break kids but mostly families & older folks. Many Albertans. This resort is not a rowdy, drunken place at all. Quite the opposite. Our next trip shall be 2 or 3 weeks as this was merely a pilot trip. I can't recommend this resort highly enough. Thank you to every single staff member, from the front desk to the amazing gardeners. We'll meet again & very soon.

    Good week at the Hacienta

    Wry friendly staff. Charming, quaint atmosphere. Good drinks. The pool staff are very attentive. Pool area is kept clean. The buffet rotates daily. Alfredo at the a la carte restaurant is very professional. This sentence completes 200 minimum characters.

    RECOMMENDED, Very good service in all areas, good food but could be better and more varied (seafood),

    Overall I was very satisfied with everything related to my stay at the hotel, giving them very good ratings but also not so good. The service in each of the areas was very good, the facilities very decent as the hotel is something old but for the end, which is to be in the pool, the beach and activities, it is more than fine, clean and pleasant. The food is good but it could be better, since I didn't get variety in seafood and it's what you want on the menus. One thing I can THANK is that I had no noise in my room and corridors, I was able to sleep very well, which I have not managed to get in other hotels, where employees and other guests do not respect the rest of others.A GREAT POINT FOR THE HOTEL SO, zero noise at night and early hours. The room well though with lack of maintenance, I would subtract from SUGGESTING TO THE HOTEL that they have a better variety of dishes, include seafood and put up advertisements (posters) in the restaurant and bars, requesting support to the guest that they finish what they order to drink and grab to eat. TOO MUCH WASTE FROM THE GUESTS. In short, the hotel is a good choice for everything you expect to receive. Rated 8.5 out of 10, this for being an old hotel (remodeling rooms) and being able to expect more variety in their food. RECOMMENDED.

    Great family getaway

    Staff and food were great. Room wasn’t fancy but was all we needed for some fun in the sun. Low key compared to other places we’ve stayed in PV - no activities at the pool and evening entertainment just 3 times a week, which suited us well. Great location with easy access to the bus and a grocery store next door for anything we forgot. We preferred the pool over the beach but enjoying walking over for sunsets.

    Two wonderful evenings!

    Lovely restaurant, food is nicely presented, well prepared and tasty. We went on two different nights and our waiter for both was Alfredo (Bobadille). He was attentive, friendly and made sure both experiences were memorable. Would return.
