Mar 29, 2025Much smaller rooms than is normal for the brand,
I’ll preface by stating we are Hilton Diamond members and I rarely review their properties. However this was disappointing enough in ways that have nothing to do with management that I had to speak up. A typical room with a single bed for the brand is a King / this is a Queen. There is no room to open two carry on bags, we have to take turns. No minifridge. No luggage rack. No complimentary water for Diamond members (the one thing management had control over). Oh, the body lotion is in the shower and the hair conditioner is next to the sink! 🤷🏼♀️ I will likely never be back to Birmingham UK but you are forewarned what to expect.

Faye and the front desk staff were amazing. Incredibly friendly, helpful and pleasant to be around. Really looking forward to staying here again and can say that this will be my first choice when visiting Birmingham again. I had no issues here at all, super clean too.

Mar 25, 2025Good, convenient hotel for business travel to Birmingham
Very agreeable stay. The price was very reasonable for a more upmarket brand like the Hilton, and the breakfast was very nice and the rooms comfortable and kept to a good standard. The location is a particular plus for the business trip we were making - right next to St Paul's tramstop, which makes it very accessible from the main railway stations and many other key locations, meaning we will likely come back here for future trips. A decent little gym in the hotel as well, and some good restaurants not too far away. A few minor hiccups on the check-in process were the only negative point.

First visit to a Hampton. Solo traveller for business. Overnight stay. Staff were lovely and smiley. Room very clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. Shower great. So why the 1 star review......constant mechanical noise all through the night, so got little/no sleep (turned off air conditioning, so it wasn't that). Realised next morning the room was next to the lifts, so assuming it was that, but really unacceptable to have constant noise (was on corporate booking so the cynic in me suggests that was why I was put in that room...... Breakfast was poor as well. Will not be visiting again.

Great hotel for family who wanted unlimited hot breakfast
We had very good time at the hotel, service is good, enjoyed hot breakfast, my child enjoyed making waffles on own and warm friendly welcome by staff especially Sheena who is very helpful. Looking forward for more stays when eve we come to Birmingham.
