Feb 20, 2025Not Great For Light Sleepers
We were a bit disappointed with our recent visit to this hotel. The rooms are the most basic hotel room one would find at any highway roadside Hampton for average $120/night anywhere in US. However, the double beds are VERY hard and the hotel has no pillow toppers or anything to offer except the thin duvet insert. The air conditioner is old and VERY loud when it clicks on. The hotel is clean and the staff is great. The breakfast is good and busy. The property is gated for car parking. The problem is this cost $600/night with ‘resort fee’ of $20/person per night especially if one does not drink alcohol and is not visiting the small pool or the walk to the beach which we did not visit since we attending a weekend event.

OVERPRICED HOTEL then + RESORT TAX
Air Conditioner is WAY TOO LOUD in Newer or Older Rooms! Can't even hear the Planes Taking Off & Landing. Air Con controls did not improve temperature, just turn off or on. Price for this Hotel is WAY TOO HIGH! EXTRA Added Resort Charge per night of $40USD WAY TOO HIGH!

Disappointed with visit to this hotel after reading reviews.
We picked this hotel based on the reviews on here. Unfortunately, we did not experience what others seemed to rave about. While the location was convenient, as well as the beach chairs, and the pool grill was nice, after that it fell fall far short of the reviews and what our typical Hampton Inn experiences have been. We did not find the front desk staff friendly or helpful at all. They generally acted like we were a bother. When I asked for a bandaid due to stubbing my big toe, they could only offer me a tiny little bandaid because they were all out of anything else. I guess keeping a first aid kit in the event a guest injures themselves is not something they do? Our room was not very clean. We found a used soda bottle under the tv stand upon entering and the bathroom floor was dirty. When maid service came the gave us no hand towels. The toilet didn’t flush properly, like there was a plumbing issue. On day two we awoke to a large puddle of water on the bathroom floor from it. Maintenance did come and fix it, which looked to be quite the project. We had told the from desk the canned lights in the bathroom were also flickering and needed replacing, however that never did happen in our 5 days there. The property overall needs a facelift, with many signs of deferred maintenance and just a general worn appearance. On the plus side, we got a cheap deal on it so I guess you get what you pay for. I think there are many nicer hotels to stay at in PR and would not choose this one again. After the reviews on here I expected something much better. However, I realize that everything is relevant and what is great to one person is mediocre to another, it all depends on your preference.

Lovely staff, good understanding of English. Huge king room, comfy bed. Breakfast good. Lack of vegan options but they did have almond milk, fruit and bran flakes. Fabulous free happy hour. 5 min walk to small sandy beach. 5 mins from airport 10 mins to cruise terminal

Great Option near the airport in San Juan
This is a great hotel near the airport in San Juan. The hotel provides a good clean room and a great staff. The pool bar a grill is a great touch, and the burgers are delicious. If you come in town and just want a quick bite or don't feel like going out, you will be happy with the meal. They also have a happy hour in the lobby in the evening. The beach is a short walk away as are some other restaurants and things to do. Great Stay!
