Charged $700 Canadian for a set of sheets
Location is great, beach is great but that’s where it ends. 2 of my sons got sick (assumed it’s something they ate because they were fine moments earlier) one made it to the bathroom but one unfortunately didn’t and tossed his cookies on the bed sheet. He scooped it up quick so that nothing got to the mattress. He called maintenance to inform them what happened and they told him to immediately go to the front desk and pay $700 Canadian. He asked if it could be charged to the room since that’s what we told our kids to do if they needed anything during our stay. He was told no and to pay it right now. We are legendary members but no one cares, the hotel doesn’t care at all so unless you are willing to take high financial risks (cause getting sick in Mexico happens), do not stay here.

Not a bad place to go for a short getaway
Place is smaller than other all inclusive as but since it’s in Cancun, it’s the normal. There are several restaurants on site. A few you need to book ahead. The best is Toro-the steak house for value and tastiness. We never did the seafood bc it did not look interesting and we did the hibachi one night. We usually stuck to toro for breakfast too. Seemed on a higher level than Frida the other breakfast place. We hit Ciao for lunch. Was nice but there wasn’t much pasta options. The risotto was nice. The place is definitely a younger hipper crowd. Things galore! Crazy. But everyone for the most part was fit. Lot of gym guys here. Our room was ok. The only thing going for it was that it was quick and easy access. The patio opened to a shared area so we couldn’t really leave the drapes open. Booked through Costco for 3/2-3/6. I got roped into a membership meeting so I can get points towards a dolphin thing we wanted to do. Worth the hour so I can do the dolphin ride for $47 Costco came by to offer trips but could not compete in costs oddly enough. Overall, folks were very friendly. No fighting for chairs in the morning. There were plenty. Butler service only refers to members here. So don’t think you get one if you’re coming. Also checkin was not that big a deal but it did take about 20 minutes. Entertainment was ok. We got to see a Cold play, Queen cover band. And a flame thrower show. Unfortunately the shows are only 45 minutes long. Prior to the show is a kids entertainment show which is super cringey. But I think it’s because they don’t really promote it as much. I think that Iberostar riviera maya was much better. But that place is huge and there are sand mites and you will be itching when you get home. This is place is more manageable and not as overwhelming. I would plan to bring a wad of singles to top. You definitely get remembered for tipping. You don’t need to. There were folks who didn’t. But frankly these guys work hard.

HR Cancun
As small as the HRC is, it still is one of our favorite properties. We love the Hard Rock vibe. We were there celebrating our 32 anniversary. Jessy and Hector made our stay memorable. We thank them for all they did. From start to finish everything was perfect!

Relaxing family Vacation
What a great stay! Fun, relaxing! Loved getting served on the beach. It was very nice not needing to get up for a drink, all the servers made you feel like you were on a real vacation! Especially, Jessy she was our butler. And she always made sure we were taking care of, dinner reservations, seats at the show. Anything that we ask she was at our finger tips. She was very kind and never made us feel like we were a bother, even for just a question. Can’t wait to return, looking forward to seeing Jessy again, she was very relatable! Thank you Jessy and the Hard Rock Staff for an amazing trip!

A rockin’ good time
We recently stayed at this hotel. The service was excellent especially our butlers, Jessie, Kevoy and Hector. They were extremely attentive and made sure every aspect of our stay was flawless. Our favorite waiter at Frida for breakfast was Carlos and his assistant Beto. Another waiter in Ciao was Benjamin was excellent as well. They made our mealtimes relaxing and seemed to anticipate our every need. If there anything that could be improved it would be to expand the menu choices in Ciao, Toto and La Isla Sun.. Additionally , please bring back the regular dining tables at Zen, I don’t want teppenyaki each time I dine there. Overall, a wonderful experience.
