If you have children it's a great resort with lots for them to do. But it's definitely not all inclusive so expect to be nickle and dimed along the way for anything for the kids or at the spa. For example, a regular pedicure is $100 for 20 mins and a deluxe pedicure is $105 for 50 mins. So of course people will select the deluxe one. But what they don't tell you is resort credit doesn't apply for deluxe so you're stuck with full price. The good: - Amazing beach with calm, warm water - lots of snacks by the pool - kids playground area and trampoline park are good - Service is generally pretty good The not so good: - Food is ok but not great - multiple attractions not working. The two largest slides and lazer tag were down for the entire week and didn't appear to be getting worked on - resort credit doesn't apply to much and is misleading. It only applies to the larger bowling lanes but only a few dollars off. Doesn't apply to the mini lanes. Doesn't apply to the video game area or indoor rock climbing which are extra charges. It covers 65% at the spa but the spa prices are very high so it's still overpriced. Also certain things at the spa randomly aren't covered for credit. Would have easily been a 5 star review but between the overly persistent membership pitch (randomly calling in the morning and waking us up to get us to go to it) and the lack of clarity with pricing and resort credits it just feels like they're trying to milk as much money as possible. At the start of the trip we were excited to come back next year now we won't be returning.

Excellent resort! Had a ton of fun! Great food as well. Most of the shows were great. Fun for all ages with a great pool presence and after dark parties and fun! The rock show was very entertaining. We will be back to visit very soon…………………………..

Soooo much to do!!!
So much to do and so much fun…we visited this resort over Spring Break and we received the best service and made so many memories….there is a water park, tons of pools, secluded beach area, every type of restaraunt and food you can dream of…Staff is friendly and attentive and our host Raul made sure we felt like VIPs. My favorite thing were the dinner shows—all the shows were different and great family entertainment with tremendous talent. There are so many things for families and kids—the kids club is great, and the jump park and play area were top notch. We loved it and we will be back!!!

Overall, we had a wonderful time! The accommodations and staff were second to none! We are blessed to be here!
The Market at Hard Rock was amazing! Luis, Erika and Astriot were absolutely wonderful! They treated us so special and like we were family!! Love this place! We had a poolside view at breakfast and they brought a delicious chocolate dessert and a wonderful Malibu drink!

Relaxing
We had a wonderful time at the HR Riveria Maya. Food was amazing, love the new restaurants. Our butlers Gabriel and Naef were the best. They went above and beyond to make our experience the smooth and so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hard rock
