Amazing time, location, and amenities
Had such a great experience here, I decided to change my flight and extend my stay here another day. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Huge thanks to Sahil, our butler Candido, Mary our housekeeper, and the short haired singing sisters who ended up being our favorite entertainment duo each night they played.

Everything about the resort, the staff, entertainment and the setting was perfect
We had the best 10 day all inclusive stay at Haven. When booking I was skeptical about the location being distant from Cancun (potentially too quiet for us) and bad reviews on the food in the hotel.. we shouldn’t have been worried at all. From arrival to departure we were treated amazingly by the staff everyone is so helpful. Check in was very smooth and we were taken to our room within 15 minutes of arriving. Our room was beautiful! We had a free upgrade due to a problem with our booking to a partial sea view room .. wow the views! The room was huge and we had our lovely maid visit every day and clean to a very high standard. Our fridge and towels were restocked daily. We were celebrating my 30th birthday and the staff made a lovely effort leaving a cake in our room and delivering champagne, strawberries and dips (requested by my partner). A lot of people were celebrating special occasions which was lovely to see. The pools and beach were always a perfect level of relaxing but also lively in the afternoons. The activities/entertainment team were so fun. I loved daily aqua aerobics with Kristina and pool volleyball with Shark Boy. The pool and whole resort for that matter was exceptionally clean. I’ve never seen anywhere so well maintained in my life. For an all inclusive resort there was never any cups or dirty towels left out the staff were amazing at tidying daily. The condition of the hotel in general is amazing it feels brand new! The layout is perfect too doesn’t feel too big but equally a good walk to breakfast in the morning and a lengthy beach walk/run. We walked across to the Hilton and back one morning which was a gorgeous 40 minutes beach stroll with lots of people doing the same. The gym was also well maintained. Food - Always top quality! We are english so perhaps are tastebuds aren’t use to too much spice so we never found the food to be bland like some reviews said. We ate in Satsu mostly as we loved the choices. We also enjoyed the buffet in the evening too, don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. The breakfast buffet is something we dreamed about daily, always so fresh and so much choices.. a mimosa station and fresh green juices yes please! There was a wedding on the weekend whilst we were there which would normally result in chaos in the hotel but not in Haven it made the pools and bars more lively which we loved as we got chatting to different people. The entertainment was also amazing none of that cringey all inclusive entertainment you normally get. Moons was surprisingly lively all the time and always put on a fab show even the karaoke. The lobby bar is open all night so we often ended the night there .. the bar team do the best cocktails even at midnight the quality never drops! We booked 2 tours directly through the hotel which went very smoothly. Pick up was on time and the hotel even offered to call you to wake you up in case you slept through your 7am pick up. We did the Tahini Experience which was amazing too. The food was great and so was the entertainment. Similar buzz to what Rosanegra restaurants would have offered but for a fraction of the price. My favourite touch of all was Mocaccino coffee shop! Mt biggest hate is rubbish hotel coffee but the resort had its own coffee shop with patisseries which we indulged in daily. We miss our latte and chocolate chip roll mornings on the beach waiting for the world to wake up enjoying the sunrise. The location was so close to Cancun airport which was a bonus for us as I hate to waste holiday time driving from the airport. The hotel was a perfect distance from Cancun (if you did want a night there) but also away from all the chaos in Cancun where you could relax on a quiet beach with a book. This was our first time visiting Mexico and Haven but definitely not our last we adored every single thing about our holiday.

Family trip January 2025
We will be back! I visited Haven with my family in January 2025. We upgraded to the Serenity Club and would highly recommend. We enjoyed the Serenity pool and bar as well as the Serenity Lounge. I felt as though the best drinks were at the Serenity pool bar. The service was top notch. Special shoutout to our butler, Gabriel. He was attentive, kind and quick to help us with anything we needed. Our favorite restaurant experiences were the Tapanyaki dinner experience, Olio and the Mexican Steakhouse. The Flavours buffet was great for breakfast and lunch. We also enjoyed Vistas for breakfast (beautiful view), though the food was not as good. Overall, I cannot say enough about this resort. We had a wonderful time and will return!

Detailed Experience of a Wonderful Stay
We attended this resort for business and pleasure, and my wife and I are extremely satisfied. We look forward to coming back. Some notes that were exceptional: Our butler, Adrian, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. My partner forgot a prescription medication and home and needed some odd items that could only be retrieved at a grocer or pharmacy, and Adrian was able to organize all of that for us. He was so friendly, helpful and the butler service was above and beyond anything we've previously experienced. The spa was also amazing. We had such exceptional massages from Mayte and Layla, that we went back a second time for more. The hydrotherapy experience before massages are just "okay", but the masseuses were outstanding. We highly recommend the 90 minute hot stone massage: it was the most immersive hot stone experience we've ever had. The poolside service was excellent. During the day, the outdoor taco/ burger grille was lovely and Jeronimo took great care of all our poolside food and drink needs. The entertainment at Tahini is really worth the reservation. The dance choreography and vocalists were very talented. The daytime programming was just okay. It's hard to please everyone, but I would've liked a lot less pop and rock music that can be heard on the radio, and more low-key Spanish and Mexican music, and more poolside house music. The pool DJ would sprinkle in some nu-disco, which my wife and I appreciated, but we couldn't stand how loud the pop music was. When playing all the pop hits, it just doesn't fit the beautiful aesthetic of the resort. The DJ obviously has good taste, so I'd suggest the resort let the DJ lean into that more.

Best hotel we've stayed at!
Stayed here from Boxing day through to 10th January which took in the New Year's Eve Celebration. Overall, the hotel is well dedicated and feels like new albeit a few years old now. Clean throughout and plenty of staff attending to your every need. We were upgraded in arrival to part sea view room instead of garden view which was nice. Room was spacious and excellent in terms of comfort and accessibility. Had balcony jacuzzi bath which was great too. Pools were large and offered different types of entertainment. The rectangular pool was where there was daily music and entertainment whereas the large round pool was very laid back. Plenty of bookable restaurants to choose from and no restrictions on amount of bookings per person. All good was to a high standard throughout including the buffet restaurant and plenty of choice with great service too. Premium drinks were also available at no extra cost at the many bars. Cocktails were quality! Different brands of premium beers available too at no extra cost. Best restaurant by far was The Steakhouse where the Captain, Jonathan looked after us on arrival and showed us to our table and waiter for the night. Nothing was too much trouble to all the staff and we were treated like Royalty. What a great experience with food that was just amazing. Rest assured we went back another couple of times to enjoy perfect steaks. We had one off night at the Asian restaurant where the waitress was rude and food was disappointing. This was surprising given we had been before and it had been great. We complained and ate elsewhere that night. Following morning one of the managers phoned us to apologise and offered to let us eat at the Steakhouse without having to book that very night. We took up the offer and once again Jonathan looked after us, giving us options to choose any steak we wanted (usually a charge if picking a large special steak) without extra cost. It was incredible service and it continued that way until we left to come home. Really nice, friendly and professional staff, with that minor blip which was more than rectified. We would love to return one day. Having stayed in Cancun 3 times before, we had lovely holidays previously but this one stood miles above the rest in terms of quality and service. Just great!
