10/10
We could not have stayed better in this hotel, the staff is charming and very attentive to everything. The food is very good and the rooms are amazing. All in all a 10/10 experience in paradise. It is a paradisiacal place where you can disconnect a lot and on the other hand also the cocktails were amazing, I highly recommend it.

Tranquility Prevails Here
Love this place. The staff really makes the experience amazing. I got a friend’s advice and booked my stay last minute. Even though it is still the end of hurricane season, went snorkeling with Devin and was lucky enough to get a solo cruise out to hawksbill rock. Although still murky because of the wavey conditions it was fabulous. I enjoyed chatting with Kyle on the beach about the different countries in the Carribean, and the people who have been working there 13-15 years like Shebeke and Loretta really made it feel like a home away from home. I was drawn to Hermitage Bay because it is renowned and loved for its quiet peaceful atmosphere and beautiful beach. I think it is great that the new owner is putting money into the property and the future looks promising. I only hope that they preserve the Hermitage Bay peaceful tranquility, and do not try and attract the party / instagram crowd which is the exact reason why so many are drawn here as opposed to the celebrity resorts. During my stay the new owner (Daniel Shamoon)was conducting a photo shoot for 2-3 days with a bunch of models, which was interesting at first but got annoying. Came from NYC to escape. I love love the people who work here and made it the recommendation of my selective friend who I trust implicitly. I hope to stay higher on the hill, and the food and private pool was amazing. The island is oddly enough going through a Diet Coke shortage but everyone made sure I was able to get my caffeine fix!

Perfect vacation
We just returned from celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at Hermitage Bay and our time there was absolutely perfect! It was an ideal place to unwind and reconnect! We have traveled to some beautiful places but this place is incredible and will be hard to beat. The gorgeous tranquil grounds and views, delicious food and drinks, and amazing staff are what makes this place so special. Rachel, the longtime General Manager, knows what she’s doing and is so kind and personable. The front desk staff are so welcoming and happy to help, especially Jaquan and Solange. The restaurant staff are fun and prompt and make every meal special. Especially Sheree, Jilyan, Annis, Nikita and Shemar. All the bar staff is great but we loved our time with and drinks from Anthony and Simone and our beach service from Kyle. The spa, daily yoga and water sports were fabulous. We enjoyed the nightly live music with some dancing and singing and were so thankful for our rides back up to our gorgeous hillside suite from the fun golf cart drivers. This vacation was truly a dream and we are looking forward to our next visit.

A Love Letter....
To the wonderful staff, including front desk, restaurant and bars, grounds keepers, watersports staff, beach valets and everyone else, we’ll miss you. To housekeeping that insured our stay comfortable(and in-room bar well stocked), we’ll miss you. To the rooms themselves, situated on your pristine beach with wonderful porches and avian wildlife, we’ll miss you. To the staff that assisted us from and to the airport and to town in efficient fashion, we’ll miss you. And finally to the management, especially the general manager for getting the resort way more than up to snuff during your renovation, we’ll miss you too. Take care, and keep paradise ready for those who dream… love, Jo and Joe
