Mar 29, 2025Fantastic Resort!
We travelled as a family of four with children ages 8 and 11. I cannot speak highly enough of this resort! We were truly taken care of from the time we set foot on the property until the moment we left. Staff The best part about this resort is the incredible staff. We did not encounter a single person that wasn't friendly and helpful. From the housekeeping staff to the wait staff to the vibe staff and the butlers, we received nonstop unparalleled service. JeVaughn on the beach and at the pool was the most incredible server we encountered. He was always around when we needed more to eat or drink. Richard at the bar was so fantastic and made the BEST drinks. The vibe crew (Strap, Starfire and Twinkle) were so much fun and really kept the party going! Accommodations We upgraded to the Diamond Club and it was 100% worth the extra money. We had a family luxury suite with a king bed and pull out sofa, and this was plenty for our family. The sofa actually is a pull out with a chaise, so each of our kids essentially had their own beds - they said they were super comfy as well. The area of the resort we chose was building 1 and it was the perfect proximity to the pool and beach. What made the Diamond Club super special was the dedicated butler service that we received. We had wonderful service from our butlers, Kenneth and Gayna (Gayna truly went above and beyond - she answered any and all questions we had and hooked us up with fabulous dinner reservations!) Food You will not go hungry here. We ate at all restaurants and did not have a single bad dish or meal. We particularly loved Zen for the teppanyaki experience and the sushi there was also spectacular. Excursions We did one excursion to Rick's cafe. Carla helped us book this and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a great little trip on a catamaran to snorkel (not great snorkelling but still fun), and then an awesome time at Rick's. The ride home is during sunset - it was really fantastic! You will not regret booking this resort!!

Mar 27, 2025Great place! NEEDS WATER SPORTS!
Our trip was wonderful and our butlers (Diamond club) were great. We never get tired of the buffet, but that is also because we are willing to try something new ever night. Our family was extremely disappointed that the water sports was gone. They used to have snorkeling you could use, boats, kayaks… not now there is nothing. We have been to this resort before so did not bother to double check… lesson learned! Very frustrating to have this piece of entertainment for the family gone. We did do a snorkel cruise and it was fun until it was not. They only allowed 30 minutes to snorkel and then they take you to Ricks Cafe and you get trapped. The kids had fun jumping… like it said it was fun until wasn’t. Super crowded, got stuck on the stairs and we just wanted to leave. The trip back in the sunset was wonderful! Fun to see the shoreline but just did not like being forced to go to Ricks. Fun to see…. Did not need to go! But the hotel… great location. They maintained it well and the staff everywhere was so super friendly.

Positive experience Royalton Negril
If I’m honest I was pretty worried to be going to the Royalton after reading some of the recent reviews. We were pleasantly relieved on arrival to be greeted by a warm friendly face and were whisked away to Diamond Club check in where we were offered a welcome drink and some food. The room was spacious and clean although there was a slight musty smell which others have complained of but it didn’t bother us. Our butlers were Dane and Gregory who were always around and on call whenever we needed anything. Service from these guys was exemplary. We regularly went to the Gym and yoga sessions and the fitness staff were amazing particularly Jovi, Andrew and Kavi. I also had a massage and a pedicure and felt the same about the staff in the spa although my nail varnish faded after a couple of days so maybe take your own polish if you are thinking of getting a pedicure. Little moans, we had to queue quite a lot for food around the pool and I think they could better manage this by either providing more outlets or getting the staff to take and deliver orders. Would also be nice to have an ice cream hut around the pool area. My biggest gripe would be the quality of the alcohol particularly the cocktails which were basic and mass produced and not to the same standard of other Caribbean islands that I have visited. That said none of these little niggles distracted us from having an amazing time at the Royalton, staff were friendly and accommodating and we certainly didn’t experience any of the issues that I have read in some other reviews. I would agree that it’s not a 5 star resort but wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. You’ll have a good holiday here.

‼️by far THE WORST place I have ever been. I would NEVER and I mean NEVER recommend this hotel nor place to anybody that is spending their own money to travel‼️ Customer Service is horrible Housekeeping horrible ( I got bed bugs) Accommodations Horrible This place is filled with mold. Do Not Visit, EVER Rooms were not cleaned, food is not good, cleanliness does not exist here. I want ALL my money back ASAP. Over priced hotel and you have to beg for housekeeping.

Fitness centre with Andre, Jovie, and Alpha
The fitness centre with Andre and Jovie and Alpha was the best hotel gym I have ever been to. There is a large variety of machines and exercises available. The workout programs run by the instructors are amazing and they prioritize your personal growth and strength.
