Mar 30, 2025Great time at Mar Caribe!
A great time was had! I came for a relaxing weekend and that’s what I got! Though it is a family property it was pleasantly peaceful. The 5 days and 4 nights were not enough by far. 1) Ritchie and Arturo took amazing care of us with getting a Cabana and the daily service. Even though we had access to the Enclave space which included the cabana’s, we still opted to have our own by the main pool so my son had more kids his age to interact with. He made new friends daily. We ended up getting the cabana for 3 days. It was easy and a big weight off of our shoulders to know we didn’t have to come out and “claim seats” every morning. 2) The spa service was top notch. Fernanda gave me one of the best massages I’ve had in quite some time. She asked me questions and checked that she was meeting my needs. 3) The drinks and food were on point. I hate resort food and believe me, I didn’t eat anything I didn’t like. I was even able to get my Don Julio Reposado Cadillac margaritas with ease and my drinks kept flowing lol. 4) I love that the main buffet offers Brazilian steakhouse vibes for dinner. There is plenty of variety for all meals and I never had to worry about not finding anything I’d like, like at other resorts. I was able to get filled at each meal time and when they weren’t open there were other options on the property to go to for a bite to eat. 5) My favorite of the weekend was the Steakhouse Restaurant, Flama! My favorite drink was made right. My meal came out in good time, was seasoned well, the temperature was perfect and our server Jose Luis was awesome! Edson the main chef made my NY Strip like he’d been cooking for me personally for years! And the I decided to ask for some Chimichurri to top it off and believe me when I say if I could bottle that goodness up and take it home I would! Overall great stay and we’ll definitely be back with more friends and family. It was definitely worth it.

I dined ar the Flama restaurant on my last night in Cancun. The service amd drinks were good. And the food was superb! The steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. First time, since being on the resort for 5 days, I finished my entire plate. Edson, fantastic job!!

Do the buffet and all the activities!
This hotel and experience was amazing. The entertainment department makes every day fun. Big credit to Cristian, Leon, Rain, Bruno, Tony and the handsome Santi. The restaurants are a hassle with some bad service and some bad food. The buffet is amazing though.

Excellent Vacation
Had a wonderful experience from a smooth check in to check out of the resort. Our room was lovely and had stunning views of the ocean. The staff really enhanced our stay. Standouts included help from Alex securing a Cabana for our second day. He was extremely knowledgeable despite still being in training. Monserrat and team provided friendly and wonderful service daily making our days in the sun so enjoyable. Food was wonderful with so many choices and my absolute favorite was breakfast at La Luce. Alex was our waiter most days and was so welcoming to our family and professional! Chef Juan, Jair, and Samuel were also so wonderful to our family.. On our last day we were treated to a lovely spread and left knowing we will miss this restaurant and the friends we made. Also very much enjoyed our experiences at Noriku and the Enclave lounge where Juan was a welcoming presence for my morning coffee. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Overall a great experience!!
Hotel was very clean and had lots of amenities & Food was way better than expected!! Ester at the buffet style restaurant was by far the highlight of our trip 🫶 she was so cheerful and knowledgeable, she even taught me about some of the local fruit!! Highly recommend a stay here when coming to Cancun. Only con would be the hotel does not offer a shuttle or their own transportation to/from airport.
