Our week long family stay at Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe was phenomenal. We travelled from Canada with our two young children and another family, and had a group with 5 children 5 years old and younger. This was a perfect family resort. The kids facilities are excellent, the pool areas are excellent. The food at all the restaurants and the buffet were top notch. Cleanliness was top notch. Most of all, the staff was top notch. A special shout out goes to Alex, our server at the Velo buffet for breakfast and lunch. Thank you, Alex, for taking care of me and my family every meal as if we were your own. You truly made our trip unforgettable. You treated our children so well, and they will be talking about their friend Alex for years to come. My boy is proud that you taught him that the Hulk is "Hombre Verde", and I believe as I write this he is telling that story and many more during his show and tell in school today. If you ever make it to our cold part of the world, we will always be willing to host you and yours.

Loved our room and the view. Food are great except for Italian restaurant, it sucks. We had Yami tending to us for 2 days in cabana and she was excellent. We also enjoyed the evening entertainment. Christian was great. I would give 5 star if they fixed the fridge like they promised. We realized it stopped working after coming from a tour on our 3rd day. The next day, I reported it personally to a girl in the front desk who said she’ll send someone immediately. No one came. The following day, I called customer service and was told the same thing. Until the day we left, no one came to fix the fridge.

Fantastic Family Stay with Great Entertainment, Service and Kids Club
We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The highlights included the buffet, the entertainment that was always going, the coffee/ice cream shop, the bartenders in the lobby and the kids club (which was the best part). The whole crew there was great as we got to know all of them - Andy, Sam, Arany, Dash, Mari, Era, Jamie and Gian. The areas for improvement were the main restaurants that were difficult to book and the food was hit or miss (I had ribs from the Japenese restaurant that were inedible and shouldn't have even been served to me, but then we had some good food from the Italian restaurants - albeit portions were tiny). The buffet for dinner has sushi and steak so was the best meal. All and all - it was a great stay, and my 5 and 8 year olds had an amazing time.

Awesome Recreation staff!!
This was an absolutely amazing trip! But I do have to give a special shout out to the recreation team! What a great team of enthusiastic young men and women. Always encouraging guests to join in various fun activities. The pool volleyball and beach volleyball were highlights for me! I got to know the amazing recreation team by name and they affectionately referred to me as Mr. Philip. So friendly and worked so hard to include all guests. And very funny too! Thank you to Mr Alex, Mr Nico, Ms Regina, Ms Karla, Mr Marlon and Mr Daniel (I know I’m forgetting a few names) The Hilton should be proud to have you representing their name. Thank you for an unforgettable trip😃 Mr Philip
