Not worth it
The hotel service is not up to the standards and the pool furnitures are really old. The only things that are worth going to Deams are the views, the beach, pool, and the animation staff (Piloto, Axel, Mary, Livy, Emilio, etc.) If you have gluten problems it’s not a hotel where you can easily find appropriate food to you.

Dreams Curacao was short of a Nightmare!
Property is in dire need of a sterile cleaning, new furniture and an overhaul. Furniture in the lobby, pool and beach are very old, filthy and in need of repair. Mold in bathroom and HVAC vents. Curtains were torn and worn in 3 places. Special restaurants run out of starters, and have the same menu daily. Expect a long wait for drinks, and service especially if you are melanated. Europeans appeared to be served and catered to in a timely manner. Housekeeping services were inconsistent. This was the worse Dreams Resort that I have ever experienced! Mexico has beautiful, clean and impressive facilities.DONT BOOK IT!

Good luck getting dinner and drinks
Resort was subpar smaller then what the website showed. We tried to get dinner and every restaurant was full. How can you have a resort and not be able to feed everyone. Our room was supposed to be a king and we got two full size beds . The bar staff them selves were unhappy because they had no help. It took over 15 min at times to get a drink. Rooms were below average for the price you pay. I've stayed in nicer hotels for what we payed pernight here. Our first mornings breakfast was something else with flies flying all over the food. Flies were flying all over everything thay didn't have a top it like it were feces.

Small beach but not too crowded. Great snorkeling!
Concierge Michelle was the best! She was very helpful with planning and setting up our outings and taking care of things we needed while we were there. The rooms and swimming pools were smaller than we are used to and there are no servers catering around the pool. So you had to get your own drinks and the bars were understaffed most of the time.

Great Place to Learn a Lot
High-Level Summary Overall Impression • Disappointing experience given high brand expectations from Hyatt. • Local sources (airport staff, locals) consistently suggested that the resort’s reputation doesn’t match the upscale image presented online. Resort Condition • Systemic neglect: multiple areas around the property appear unmaintained. • Room issues: moldy smell, leaking ceilings in hallways that went unrepaired. • Pool area challenges: restrooms are far from the pool, broken lounge chairs, and hazardous walking paths. Service & Staff • Hospitality gaps: some staff (aside from cleaning crew and buffet host) seemed unfamiliar with typical Western service expectations. • An example: complicated payment process for premium dining; some staff interactions felt rude Food & Beverage • Generally poor quality with only a few acceptable or good dishes. • Premium seafood upcharge was reasonable by U.S. standards, but the payment process felt disjointed (charged at the check-in desk on the other side of the resort, not on the room or at the table).
