Curaçao is beautiful just don't go here

Beautiful beach and pool for most part staff was terrible except a few who went above and beyond. Buffet was below average but specialty restaurant were good. Beware no coffee anywhere before 7. Restration was worse than anywhere we have ever been. It took 3 hours in lobby to get our room ready.from 230 to 530 while others came in and got to rooms. Supervisor was very rude.Curaçao was beautiful just don't go to dreams.

    Ruined vacation

The shower faucet fell twice into the bath tub after fixing it. Not enough body wash and shampoo(was not added before we arive). Staff behavior in buffet like doing a favor they serve you. We have to ask 5 times to bring water. We could take ourselves if new where. In the beginning twice coffee machine was broken. The buffet and bar was filthy and staff not friendly. Food was called and not covered. We could see flyes over the cheese, ham and fruits. Some meat was not possible to chew and cut with the nighfe. At the end my husband got poisond. And it was a lot of mosquitoes which management started to treat after special group came in. I wander who were they. It looked like it was audit group or ....? So far we were waiting for our vacation and were exited to come to Dreams hottel and what we got?

Cute little resort with some potential

The good (actually very good): no bracelets so no ugly accessories in all pictures. Also no hassle with beach towels, you leave the wet towels on the beach chair at the end of the day and you just get a new one at the towel booth where there is selfservice so no waiting times. The bad: no swimup bar at any of the pools in combination with nonexistent drink serving staff is a disaster The ugly: having to fill out and sign forms after participating in entertainment activities...

    Bad experience.

After saving for this dream trip, we lived a literal nightmare for a week. This was the worst all inclusive we have ever stayed at. There were literally 3 staff that were great. The rest were on their phone and if asked a question would have attitude. When I asked for the corporate number, I was told to look it up myself. The room was clean but it was 9 pm some days before it was done. Toilet was broke the entire time , so had the cover off the back to manually flush. Our balcony door handle was broken for 5 days. Food at specialty restaurants was good. No fans at any restaurants , so I got bit up every evening. At the buffet we witnessed birds eating people’s food while they were up looking for silverware as there was no service there. You got pretty much everything yourself. So glad to be home. On a positive note, the view was beautiful and the ocean was so relaxing. Our room was cool.

    Stay Away

This place is awful. Service is basically nonexistent and all of the staff operate at a snails pace. The rooms are horrible and if you’re looking for A/C to cool you off after a day at the pool or the beach, good luck. Our A/C wouldn’t cool off a camel in the Sahara desert. It has been awful. There are only 3 restaurants and they randomly close during different nights of the week and do not notify guests of closures. Most of the bars around the pool areas are normally out of beer and you can only find “decent” liquor if you are a “Preferred” member. There is no staff that brings drinks to anyone sitting around the pool area. So don’t worry about bringing cash, the staff obviously aren’t concerned with earning extra money. I would never recommend anyone I know to visit this resort or the island of Curaçao. Customer service is non-existent and also very clearly not a priority for anyone at this resort. It might be advertised as “all inclusive” but it’s a do-it-yourself all inclusive. You might have paid for the all-inclusive to have it all pre-paid but be prepared to constantly chase down your drinks and your sub-par food. If you are between here and somewhere else, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
