Family visit
First time to stay at the Carlton hotel Edinburgh and we arrived a bit disappointed to find 2 Asian ladies at reception who were very abrupt with us. They didnt even explain what time the breakfast was and just give us the key with no explanation of anything at all. We went up to the restaurant Djolol welcomed us and was very friendly. After we had lunch with the family, Nick and Collin were both amazing . Everyone at the restaurant was very nice with good customer service. Thank you for having us.nice cocktails 🍸

Hilton Edinburgh
Our stay was exactly what I’ve come to expect from Hilton. The room was spacious and comfortable. The unexpected bonus was Nick at the bar. He was both thoughtful and funny…and very knowledgeable about whisky! He really made the trip stellar!

Bar stop
We had the best time at the Edinburgh Hilton. After a long day we stopped for a drink at the bar. We had the best time there being served by a young lady named Daisy Drummond. She was wonderful and very engaging. She made me forget about my tired feet for the entire time. Quite charming.

Great Location, Huge Room
Perfect location. Right off the Royal Mile, we never had more than a 5 minute walk to the main attractions. Room was huge, beds were comfy, breakfast was yummy. It was the perfect spot for our few days in Edinburgh. Just be aware if you arrive at the Edinburgh train station, the hotel is basically right on top, but you have to either climb a lot of stairs, or do about a 7-10 minute walk around to get there.
